    Buggy

First time I've tried again in awhile. This one takes over a minute to load. When it finally does it appears to play OK but thats too long for opening.

The subtities are still always turned on english also. I cannot get bit-streaming HD audio either. I noticed someone said they could in the other thread I ask about it by going in the settings. Not this version but another one.

I cannot get it though, not matter what I select. Also there is no FF or RR buttons on the bottom of the screen, but I don't remember if there was before or not. Should be though.

But I still cannot use it yet, just the HD bit-streaming would stop me anyway.

I only use it for MKV files off a server. Windows 7 64 bit.

Do you mean opening the program is slow or opening a disc or file for playback? The program opens in about 4 seconds on my PC, which I think is fast enough that it's not a "bug". The time necessary to open a movie for playback will vary with the speed of your internet connection.

The subtitles can be turned off in settings. Follow the instructions in the other thread to set it up for HD streaming.

Sounds like you need to spend a little more time with the product.

The last version 1021 opens very slow also on my computer. About 55 seconds just to pass the splash screen. Earlier versions were around those 4 seconds.

      Win 7/64

Same OS here, I just checked it again, splash screen displays for 3.1 seconds with no optical disc in the drive. Let me see if Beijing can duplicate this.

I just timed it again. 48 seconds on the opening splash screen with 1021. Running WIndows 7 x64. Earlier versions much quicker.

Is that the "real" serial number in that log?

Perhaps replace the first digits with *****

I didn't realize I needed to explain it more clear, but at least other people have the same problem. I can assume you I put enough time into trying to make it work before posting. Even though I knew it was its was the player causing it to take that long, some kind of conflict or file. Anybody can over look something but at least I've been using a HTPC over 10 years. I've forgot how many different players I've tried in that time, and using things like FFdshow ect.

Also there is nothing in that thread telling how to get HD audio to bitstream. Its just someone saying they got it to work in the settings menu. I said in my first post I tried all the settings. So are you saying HD bit-streaming is suppose to work for everyone ? It don't work for me, but MPC-HC with LAV & Madvr does and everything else I've tried.

I've tried everything in the settings menu, and there isn't that much there anyway. I would like for it to work though. Also, the subtitles are back on every time I open the player, which means its not holding the setting that turns them off. I've already uninstalled the player one time, but maybe its not removing everything. I don't know but to me its buggy.

Here is log on the player, if you want it.

I am getting hd audio to bitstream. My audio settings are as follows -

                            Audio Output - HDMI
                            Speaker Configuration - 7.1
Dolby Digital (AC3) capable receiver - selected
                            DTS capable receiver - selected
                            TrueHD capable receiver - selected
                            DTS-HD capable receiver - selected
                            Audio output device - Default

I am using a Toshiba laptop with HDMI output playing ISO's and discs.
