DVDFab Media Player 6 shows "Expired"

    I just installed 6.0.0.6 3 days ago.
    It shows Trial Expired.

It also detects the GAOTD version of DVDFab Media Player 5 & attempts to assign DVDFab Media player 5's email address & asks for a password.
I believe something in this is root of the expired problem.
I have never had version 6 installed before 11/28/2019.

Even with this it will not play a burned DVD in my optical drive.
I get the version expired message when I try.
I thought DVDFab Media Player 6 was supposed to play DVDs from an optical drive even after the trial.

Also on an .MKV file that is 3D is says Windows 7 not yet supported.
Even though on the ad web page for DVDFab Media Player 6 it says it supports Windows 7.

    Hello,
    1. Please specify your registered email account (send via PM), we will need to check your license status first.
    2. On this page, you can see the difference between free/expired, standard and Ultra version of Player.
Characterized by an all-around service, PlayerFab makes it accessible for users to playback local videos, DVD/Blu-ray/UHD discs, and videos from Amazon, Netflix, Tubi, Peacock.

Once trial expired, it will become a free version, and it doesn't support to playback regular DVDs.
    3. Please attach a screenshot to show us the complete message when you try to play an .MKV file that is 3D and get the message saying Windows 7 not yet supported.

Also, in DVDFab Player 6, go to PC mode>Settings>Video section, and use the "Analyze Hardware" button to do the analyze and screen shot the result and send it to us. Thanks.

      Thanks for answering Mona.
I will answer in the order you ask.

      1. DVDFab MP6 did not ask for an e-mail account when I installed it.
      So I didn't enter one.
Since this is a trial I would never use my registered email account that my paid software is in.
I use a disposable e-mail account for trial software.
That is what I would use for MP6 if asked.
For the PM . I no longer use PM since I'm on restriction. It is very limited .

The email address that does come up when I select Authorize is the one for my DVDFab MP5.
Since it is a GAOTD email I will just post it.

      dvdfabplayer5_gotd@dvdfab.cn

      2. I looked at the link & it says nothing about the features after the trial.
If I missed it then post what the link says.
My browser search feature didn't find the word expired & it did find free but nothing relevant.

      3. MP6 will play a 3D .MKV file as Side by Side.
It is making the settings I have a problem with.
MP6 is supposed to have a setting for the TV type that changes the 3D video to anaglyph 3D.
I have been told this works by a friend with Windows 10.
So even though Analyze Hardware shows "No" on 3D Playback (HDMI 1-4).
      MP6 plays Side by Side.
Another software companies media player plays 3D in Anaglyph on this computer over the computers HDMI output socket.
So in this case the Analyze Hardware is incorrect.

      Here are the screen shots.
I hate to post screen shots on this forum.
They ususally work poorly for me .
This time I got "Invalid format" on all screen shots I took & tried to upload.
All were small enough so tell me how to post them.

      "Upload Attachments" did not work.
Image in the tool bar did not work.

I used my OCR to capture the message as text:

"Oops! 3D playback support is only available on Windows 8/10 for now. Windows 7 will be
      supported soon."

      H264 Yes

This is the information in the screen shots.
It is the best I could do.

Again if there is a way I can post screen shots I have them.
I tried both .jpg & .png formats.
      34KB was the largest .

        1. We will see if we can reproduce and let you know.
        2. Once the trial expires, it will become a FREE version, so if you want to know what version has what feature, you can check that URL.
        3. DVDFab Player 6 supports to run on Windows 7 system, but it doesn't support to playback 3D material on Windows 7 system.

          2. Thanks but I checked the features before I downloaded the trial.

          3. The message informed me about Windows 7 but the web page for MP6 does not.
It should so people using Windows 7 know this.
It also says Windows 7 will be supported soon.
Any information on how soon ?

Since my trial started out "Expired" & was never a full function Ultra I don't believe I will be able to try it anyway.
Even with a 30 day trial it would probably be too late for Windows 7.

              Testing posting .png image.
Followed the instructions in the link signals posted.
It still states " forum.dvdfab.cn says
              Invalid File"

I used a .png & these are the Details from "Properties".

              Name OOPs.png
              Item type PNG File
              Date created 12/4/2019 10:28 AM
              Date modified 12/4/2019 10:30 AM
              Size 5.65 KB
              Dimensions 600 x 185
              Width 600 pixels
              Height 185 pixels
              Bit depth 4

Also when logged in as a forum member due to the restrictions on me I can't even view the images in signals Official Guide Using Images in Forum Posts

I can veiw these only when not logged in.
Fortunately I can do this by also using FF browser where I'm not logged in.
At the same time as another browser.

I resized with both Irfanveiw & Paint.
              Tried both.
The Paint .png was 42KB so much larger than the Irfanveiw .png .
The deminsions were within the forum limitation.

Hi Cholla, I've confirmed with the developer, we will not support the 3D playback in Windows 7 system in the future. We will correct that message. Thanks.

Regarding the Player 6 expired message, we've tried on different computers and with different accounts, we cannot reproduce the issue. Maybe you can video record what happens and show us. Thanks.
