Passkey needed or not ?

Hi,

I try to understand if I need Passkey or not. When I read the features of DVDFab (Copy, Ripper) it seems that all of them removes protections.

What does Passkey do, then ? Do I need it or not ?

I wonder me that because today I tried to rip a DVD with DVDFab (legit last version) with no success. I had to use [other software] to break an Analog Protection System (not a movie, but a travel presentation).

Passkey is designed for use with other software that does not have decryption technology. If you have DVDFab, you should not need Passkey. If you had a problem with a disc with DVDFab, post in the DVD Copy forum and post the DVDFab internal log for the disc.
