Additional benfit: if you need to reopen a BD that you scanned previously, it is lightning fast, about 10 seconds. This is not mentioned in the blog post, so may not work for all discs.

Works well with BDInfo and VLC.

Suggestion: add the text "Full Disc: OK" to the balloon if it is supported.

While this is true for subsequent scans I think it is fair to say some initial scans can take longer to complete.

My results with 1st scans are mixed. Oblivion only took about 95 seconds, Snitch was still grinding at 4+ minutes when I bailed on it. Pacific Rim was about 2-2.5 minutes.

My avast went crazy!

I installed the beta passkey and registered but when I ran the program my Avast Antivirus totally quarantined it, rendering it unusable. this never happened with regular non Blu-path. Other than disengaging Avast is there another solution?

So, does this mean that the products using BluPath will require an active internet connection to function? Or if they can't contact the BluPath server, will they fall back on processing the disc locally?
