If I purchase dvd/bd ripper/copy, do I still need a passkey?

Passkey is a program that processes discs differently from DVDFab. You probably do not need it, but there is a promotion going on where you can get it for free. Can never have too many tools. You can find the promotion here: http://www.dvdfab.cn/promotion.htm
Among other things, it makes any DVD or Blu-ray disc in your optical drive appear to your operating system to be unencrypted content. Anything (e.g. other software, players etc.) that looks at the drive sees an unencrypted disc.
