i just bought the video converter license.

now i try to convert some of my movies for my mobile device (samsung galaxy tab 7) as i'm on a long trip soon.

but currently i always get this error
    "
    Work 1 failed, Error = 504.00 0 error: filter name(file_demux), type(1), id(26), get fatal exception
    "

i already disabled the HW accerlation ... but there was no other behavior
also tried the 8.1.3.2 version without any other result

I tried posting on this topic the other week. I’m getting the same problem. I can supply an 860mb MP4 for you (DVDFAB support stuff) to test if you would like, I just need you to supply me with FTP details.

If your source file is a BDMV folder or ISO of a movie, you should be using BD Ripper, not Video Converter. ChrisO, if you get the same error code, please post the log files.

        Hi snoopy78
As my friend signals said you are using the wrong module.

If you want to try the Ripper module, your logs indicate that your trial has run out and you will need to purchase the product.

Also Open Fab click the Click the Green at top right corner of the DVDFab screen, and open Common Settings > General >A/V Codec, put a check in Disable all GPU codes and make sure they are set to Software.

            Hello,

            sorry for my late reply..

NO..i'm not using BDMV or ISO as source files....i'm just using simple MKV files to encode into my tablet's native video resolution to save some space....
and afaik this is the purpose of the converter.
