    Video Converter running impossibly slowly

I'm using Video Converter 8.2.2.6 on mac osx Lion, trying to convert 2Gb mp4 file to a .avi file.. The app sees the file and starts to do it, but the speed never gets above 0.3 fps, and eventually the process dies with a corrupt file a few minutes later. I would have expected more like 100fps, thats the speed it rips DVDs at..

ANy help welcome, do I need to upload logs ?

    thanks

Yes, please upload the internal log session for this conversion. Your symptoms usually indicate the decoder had a problem with the source content. Try setting all the GPU acceleration to off.

And post the MediaInfo report on your source file.

IS it only the one file affected?

Im running OSx 10.8.3 and DVD fab 8.2.2.6

I get the same result each time, frame rates less than 1 fps for about 5 minutes, then it balks.. It has produced a file, with sound but no picture

Where do I get the MediaInfo app ?

Is Hardware acceleration under AV codec or DVDconvert ?
