I was trying to convert a movie I had ripped a couple of years ago, but DVDFab didn't detect the UTF-8 subtitles, is the a bug or limitation?

720p, x264, AVC, AC-3 MKV, it's foreign language with English subs, in the output they're gone. Before you start the conversion you can't even select them, DVDFab doesn't even see them.Comment
