Motion jitter/freeze when converting VC-1

In the last weeks I found that when converting VC-1 video files, the converted file shows "motion jitter/freeze".
It doesn't matter if I convert it in 1-pass, 2-pass or which other video quality setting I change: I get the same problem.
I don't know from which DVDFab version this problem exactly appears, but it seem to be from some of the v12.0.3.x on.
This problem appeared previously in some of the v10 or v11 versions, and I don't know what the problem was but it was fixed in later updates.
Has anyone else encountered this same problem?

I have had problems with playback of original movie discs that were VC-1 encoded. Terrible system. I no longer buy any title on a VC-1 disc.
