So with the new v11 I notice that it seems DVDFab copies the complete file over before it starts to convert a video?
Is this new or did v10 also do this but it just included the conversions and copying of file in the % completed

It is not clear what you mean. Are you using Copy or Ripper? DVDFab scans a portion of the Source in both modes before starting but it is not actually making a copy.
