DVD Ripper error (crash) during two-pass conversions at 50% point

For the last few versions I am encountering a DVD ripping error during two-pass conversions. At the 50% point after the first pass it done, the program crashes and stops. An Windows error box appears. If I close the box and exit the program, the program actually stays on the screen and resumes the rip. I am assuming this it saves the first pass, but I really couldn't say for sure. At the end of pass two, it says the rip was successful. I am running Windows 8.1.

Please fix this if it is a bug or advise how to stop it. Thank you!

More important for you to supply the DVDFab internal log session that shows the crash or failure. Instructions for supplying logs are linked in my sig, below. If the sig is not visible, press F5 to reload the page.

I'm also experiencing the same problem that started about a month ago.

I get the same problem. I can't use 2-pass encoding for any codec, even if I disable GPU acceleration and use pure CPU encoding.

                  Hello Mona,
I am able to complete the rip if I click on Pause, and then click Continue.
