    Is there a virus issue?

By habit and beside the x64 version of DVDFab I still have the 32 bit version of DVDFab installed. At the moment the download area gives me only the x64 version, if I click on the link to the offline installer on your download page (Link: https://dvdfab.cn/mlink/download.php...Fab12_x64_FULL ).

To retrieve the 32 bit version I usually change the link address to: https://dvdfab.cn/mlink/download.php?g=DVDFab12_FULL

    I got a file named dvdfab12_12031.exe

During the end of the installation process my anti virus software raised an alarm because of a virus in the v1.2.0.3.1 32 bit installer file. Unfortunately I do not know which virus it has detected because after the systems restart the antivirus software has wiped the quarantine folder clean.

So I would like you to please check the 32 bit version whether there maybe there has a virus sneaked in or not.

Not to my knowledge or experience. You may have received a corrupted file since you were using an invalid url.

Well, isn't that the same URL, namely "https://dvdfab.cn/mlink/download.php" but with two different values for the only parameter? The first value "DVDFab12_x64_FULL" gives me an accurate file containing the x64 version. The second value "DVDFab12_FULL" seems to give me an odd file which installs the 32 bit version but triggers my anti virus software. In both cases the same URL.

Hi, we use the link to download the 32-bit version, we cannot duplicate the virus issue you reported, the 32-bit DVDFab 12 installed and runs well.

Here is the scan result from virustotal:

What antivirus software did you use? What's the message in the alarm?

That's odd. I downloaded and installed the 32 bit version as described above on May 28th. At the end of the installation process my antiviris software raised the alarm. It's Avira Antivirus. I now found a log file holding this information:
            • [INFO] RepairMalware: Remediation of malware TR/Crypt.XPACK.Gen needs a reboot to complete
Today I took the very same DVDFab installation file which raised the alarm on May 28th and installed that program again. Now the antivirus software stayed silent. But this software seems to get an update very often. Maybe there was a glitch in the antivirus version on May 28th and that was changed with one of the 40 updates this software received since May 28th.
