    What affects download speeds?

I apologize for my lack of knowledge when it comes to this question. What will increase the speed of downloads? Is it the computer processor, internet speeds, or combination of both? I am typically able to d/l a 42-45 minute tv show in 20 minutes, an h.265 show in Amazon for about 10-12 minutes. Is anyone able to d/l any faster?? Thanks.

In general, internet speed, cpu and gpu (on your end) and server allowed speed (can vary by provider). The speed you are getting is not bad at all.

afaik most of the sites other than amazon top out at 2x, if you see the video playing this is probably the case. Amazon goes much faster, as long as you're not being capped by amazon (which will happen after a couple of downloads in a short period)
