We are excited to announce that we have made significant progress in addressing the DRM issues that have been affecting some of our services since January 25th.
Amazon: Fully fixed the DRM issue from v6.1.8.1.
Netflix: Fully fixed the DRM issue from v6.1.8.2.
Note: SONY movies are only available at 540p, like Madame Web
Peacock/SkyShowtime/Channel 4/DMM/FANZA: Fully fixed the DRM issue from v6.1.8.3.
Note: Download EAC3 2.0 audio from SkyShowtime will be fixed soon.
DRM issue the the following modules are still in working on the new DRM solution:
- Stan
- DRM MPD
Max: Still need a verification for support downloading 4K/1080p with the new DRM fix solution.
For the other modules, please feedback to us if you have any download problem.
We understand the frustration that this issue has caused and we are working on integrating them properly.
Thank you for being a part of the StreamFab community, we really appreciate your understanding.
Finally stop demanding such things!
Otherwise they'll just start working on the "recoding" again! It's all a waste of time...
Finally understand it!
For crying out loud, do you really think that all DVDFab developers are specialised in cracking DRM copy protections? Or that there is only one developer (maybe you know better?)?
If re-encoding is implemented as an interim solution, the information about re-encoding in the progress status is certainly not a task that takes up relevant time and especially not takes resources from the DRM hacker(s).
After all, it still may take a while until the download is available again in the usual comfort.
I am using Version 6.1.6.9 and downloading from Amazon (in Canada). I am selecting H264: CVBR: Resolution: "1920x1080 - 5209 kbps - 1.75 GB": EAC3: Language English EAC3 5.1 -640kbps: English (CC); Extract to SRT File.
When downloading beside the title name it shows 1080p 264 EAC3 5.1 in the orange circled rectangles.
The output video looks the same as one downloaded Jan 28th when I still think Amazon downloads were still working for me.
Does anyone know for sure if StreamFab is still re-encoding (upscaling?) the output or if I getting true 1920x1080 resolution downloaded?
