Are you dropping support for downloading streaming videos in MP4?
Just asking because the OP mentions MKV and the Preview Version of StreamFab 5 does not appear to have an option to select the video format.
I'm aware that MKV and MP4 basically serve the same purpose as a "container" for the actual content and won't debate the merits of each which can be found elsewhere. If MP4 is indeed being dropped, I just find this an interesting way to move StreamFab forward because MP4 has been supported thru the latest release (Preview Version Not-Withstanding). In addition, I was under the impression that MP4 is the more widely supported format.
No, StreamFab will add the choice in the settings for MP4 or MKV.

Can we use both v4 and v5 side by side? I would be much more likely to test it on the side.
I have this same question - I only have one license, can I use them both? I don't want to overwrite a stable version, with an alpha or beta version. Thanks

I tried. I picked a separate install folder for v5, but the desktop icon created during install pointed to the same path as the v4 exe.
V5 did pickup the v4 configuration in the settings menu, including Audio, Video and temp directories, etc. I forgot to check later if changes made in one version were seen/used by the other.
They both used the same log folders (%userprofile%\my documents\Dvdfab\Streamfab).
And there was only 1 listing under Programs and Features. (To uninstall I had to uninstall using programs and features, then reinstall to alternative location, and uninstall again).
So no, not really separate. I would not try running them side by side.
error opening V5.0.0 after 4.0.2.6 was released, "current version is unknown, please upgrade to the latest version" and also previous V5 queue got lost now is empty
So this something is awry. I had downloaded and installed StreamFab5 and was using it without incident. Today when I loaded 5.0.0.0 I first got a message pop up that "The current version was unknown, to use this feature please upgrade to the latest"... thinking I might be able to just "Authorize" my installed 5.0.0.0 I tried to do that and received a message that the current version is unknown and was not able to authorize it. That leaves me in "Trial User" status even though I have purchased all the current streaming services.
When I try a download due to the trial user status I get a pop up about only having 3 downloads.
There does not seem to be an update posted for download.
Can this be fixed?
Otherwise I will have to uninstall 5 and reinstall 4.
Since yesterday version 5 does not work. It says it is an unknown version and you need to download another. It also does not allow you to login from that version.

v5 looks awesome and work flawless so far, but I do have a question :
How do I select more than one language for the download? For example english and spanish, so that both get remuxed into the video file?
Thanks ...

is that supposed to be supported now?
Multiple audio tracks is listed on the "What we’re going to do in the following updates" section so downloading different audio languages might be coming in the future?
