6202 should not really need to import cookies. Those with issues will unfortunately have to go back to 6201, although so many had log-in issue with that version. I don't recommend going back to older versions now, as SF disables older versions, as time goes by.

Is what I found you need to be fast if using, 6202. Copy into Windows clipboard the password to YouTube/Google by having it typed in notepad and select it and select copy.
In SF go to YouTube click the Sign in and type your email, now be ready, click next and fast paste password in password field, click next.
In me doing this several times it did wait and gave me time to paste the password in, a few times, other times I had to fast paste the password, and click next, before it reloaded.

ADDED note, you may even want to try from https://www.google.com/ or another google URL through SF to get it to work.

If this doesn't work, you are back to square one, and you can make your own screenshots and reports via member center support. Upload them there with log(s) and wait for some none sense reply from support.

I am again logged in and hope to stay that way, like I was able to when using an older method for 6201.

Also NOTE I know it has happened now for many you will have to log back in most providers that require log-in due to this major change in 6202, Netflix, Peacock, Amazon and YouTube are the main things I mostly use and had to log back into. Overtime, I am sure I will find others.
On or about the end of 2024 I will be losing access to Netflix Standard.
After that, I might reevaluate if I want Netflix Standard /w Ads.
I will continue to have access to Amazon w/ Ads and Peacock w/ Ads.
TheCW, Pluto, Roku Channel, Tubi, and Plex, along with others, are good FREE w/ Ads services.

Stan001, that method unfortunately will not work for DRM downloads on YouTube (i.e. YouTube Movies). In order for that to work, cookies from Chrome or Edge must be imported. And that does not work in StreamFab 6.2.0.2. Try it. After logging in to YouTube or Google inside of StreamFab (not the way it's intended to work), go to YouTube Movies and try to download something with DRM. It won't work. Please go back and re-read my posts in this thread.

I somehow overlooked that post Germania, sorry, plus I gave all steps and seems some did not believe it worked and it does.
So it's proof of concept now with more members being successful in doing these exact steps.

Stan001, you seem to not be understanding that using the method you described, you cannot download DRM protected content from YouTube (i.e. YouTube Movies). If you don't believe this is true, then try downloading something from YouTube that is DRM protected with 6.2.0.2.

Not sure what Germania means by "Chromium based Browser > v127 protect the cookies stronger", they import just fine using StreamFab 6.2.0.1, and DRM downloads on YouTube work fine with that version of StreamFab.
OK, YOU ARE RIGHT, IT SEEMS. So I can't revise my post, but DRM downloads on YouTube (i.e. YouTube Movies), does NOT work it just gets stuck at analyzing.
If I get time and figure it out, if possible, I will post another post.
Until then, stick to contacting SF support, sadly.

ADDED logs are useless as this is all you get :

Why using import cookies from Chrome if SF use Chrome (CEF) v128 ??
That 6202 can't dl DRM content is an 6202 issue - not a cookie problem.

This is most likely the answer and for now 6201 is the only answer.

Actually, the last issue with YouTube I had stuck at analyzing it did give me an error in logs which led to a fix on my end.
So that points more directly to a 6202 issue, than a user issue.

And would make it pointless to send logs to SF, although I am sure they will insist. If reporting the issue.

                Small addition to #36

There is no half/wrong logged in ..
.. if the cookie created in SF 6202 would be faulty, YT would let you new log in again

and playing DRM content works after directly in SF 6202 logged in
included "Sign in to confirm your age" - so all is fine with YT

ERGO: 6202 can't handle YT DRM dl

Sadly, I have to report that it seems unless I am willing to do a complete full uninstall and clean of 6202 before trying 6201, 6201 still gets stuck at analyzing.
In my view you only get 480p from YouTube movies unless possibly you pay, with I won't give google any money, there are other sources that have the movies free, or give access to at a low yearly fee, to better resolutions.

THIS actually worked. I tried all the other methods that worked in the past, including logging out in Edge and Chrome, deleting cookies, etc.
I too was seeing the login prompt on YT for only a second. I too was not getting the usual screen that SF pops up and tries to 'guide' you how to do it.

6.2.0.1 Stopped working for purchased content early last week.
6.2.0.2 Has never worked for purchased content for me since upgrading.

Videos just get stuck analysing but if I copy and paste the URL it gives an error message (see below for examples). It doesn't have an issue playing the content through Streamfab, just with downloading.

Just to be sure, I did try it the latest Chrome version 130.0.6723.70 and it made no difference, although I didn't know StreamFab used Chrome 128, so maybe I should have tried it with that.

6.2.0.1 should work for YouTube DRM content (purchased videos, YouTube Movies, etc.) (6.2.0.2 will not.)

                            Try this:

                            1) Either SIGN OUT of YouTube inside of StreamFab 6.2.0.1, or better yet, delete the entire contents of the Temp folder for StreamFab
                            2) Go into Chrome if you have Chrome, if not go into MS Edge, and CLEAR ALL BROWSER DATA, especially cookies (if you have both browsers you can do both to be sure)
                            3) Restart the browser then go to YouTube and log in, make sure you can play purchased content (again if you have both Chrome and Edge you can do this in both to be sure)
                            4) Close the browser
                            5) Start StreamFab, open YouTube or YouTube Movies, click Sign In
                            6) Wait and StreamFab will refresh, it should then be logged in and DRM downloads should work, but be aware that for many YouTube Movies titles, YouTube only makes SD available for browser playback on computers, so this is the maximum that StreamFab will be able to download.

If clearing all browser data causes you a hardship, you should be able to just copy the User Data folder and then replace it after StreamFab is done importing cookies. So for example if it's Edge, copy the User Data folder in C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\ and paste it as User Data - Copy, then to replace it delete the User Data folder and then rename User Data - Copy back to User Data.
