    Good idea.
    It still doesn't work.
For a minute there I thought it might have to do with the fact that I had a two user accounts on that machine and UAC set to none (unlike my laptop).
I set UAC same as laptop, and even deleted my local account on the desktop, removed streamfab with revo, re-installed (v6.0.3 via customer service link).
    Same issues.

the line you are referring to is exactly like this:
      HTML Code:
      UserNamePassword=,
what format is in there? I mean if I were to manually input something in the ini file, should I do it like this?
      HTML Code:
      UserNamePassword=nickcage@gmail.comMyDogLassie

I dont' have tested if this happen after deauthorize ..
.. but simple remove the line and save before you start SF.
edit: please save as StreamFab.ini - not as StreamFab.ini.txt

Good idea. Unfortunately it didn't make a difference.

Good idea. Tried removing the line. Did not work. It just recreated the line at the bottom of the ini file, exactly as it was:
            Code:
            UserNamePassword=,
I gave it another go, only this time I copied the line from my laptop to my desktop. It should be identical, unless the encryption works by device rather than just encrypting the password.
Didn't work. Still get the error when authorizing.

            Me raising my white flag.

.. there is no problem with your password.

Your problem is the connection to SF server.

Who knows what else you have caught and/or which files have been manipulated.
              Your system has been compromised

Restore from a system restore point (or use your backup) from before your problem began

Of course this refer to filmgal

There is little info/response from you ..

I know only that you "Couldn't connect to server", use no vpn
"malwarebit firewall which tell me that app is not blocked"
and "tried on 2 different computers and same thing"

In the other thread you wrote "I tried the android app and here I could log in."

Using same internet connection (WiFi) ?
Can you login in Member Center from PC?
What was the result of your ping test ?

Only use the x64 version, if not tried uninstall SF, delete all remaining streamfab info from the computer and download the full installer, and install.
The main file for the password, as stated before, is the streamfab.ini. You could just try searching for that and delete all found and just try that.

If you get no connection, then reset your network on the trouble computer and reset your modem/router.
Reset Windows Firewall as well on trouble computer and temporarily uninstall any other firewall and check any VPN software as they all set themselves up to auto start.

If it's Windows 11 you may even need to do a Windows 11 repair as Windows 11 is having issues since the 24H2 update. My computer lost its LAN device in Windows 11, I could not connect at all to the internet unless I tried Wi-Fi. Thankfully, I keep support for my computer and my computer support fixed all the issues.

If it then continues, and you can access the internet in some form, go to Members Center and try SF support.
It could be an account issue.
What a waste of time, streamfab so-called support.

Melcitron, we are having the same issue right? if you can try a restore maybe you can go for it. I can't. My laptop died just before all of this and I had to get a new one, and I accidentally overwrote my desktop backup of c. I don't have the time to reinstall it unless I absolutely have to.

Also, yeah, I tried everything listed with the latest v6.0.3 and got the same results.

So I did a total c: backup with Acronis and it worked!!!
so there was definitively a registry problem or something like that that even specific desinstallation tool could not fix... because with a very clean 1st installation it worked...
I was even able to install it with the online version, that was not working before...

To everyone here, thank you for your help. I truly appreciate the time and effort you all took to get me up and working again.

                            I got it working !!!!!

I always suspected that there was something off about asking for my username and password on a clean install, before asking me to login. It made no sense. How can you install a program for the very first time and have it ask you for your username and password? So somehow Streamfab was keeping some link to me even when it was completely uninstalled with Revo. (not sure I like that idea...).

Anyway, I pretended to be a first timer. I completely removed Streamfab with Revo.
I signed out of my google account.
I did not sign into my wifi but just the LAN. I set my VPN to Detroit.
I installed using custom and told it to not run the program as soon as it was installed.
The installation took me to the website. I was already logged in there (cache I guess) and I signed out.
Installed (NOT as administrator, just to see).

It worked and I was able to authorize my desktop.

The minute I logged back into my Google account and started Streamfab it went right back to where I was....
                              Breathe in, breathe out.
                              Round 9, here we go.

I can get it to work if I delete the DVDFAB folder under ROAMING before starting the program and if I am connected to my LAN (with or without Malware VPN but not ExpressVPN).
Things get iffy when I connect to WIFI (Starlink) first.
I'll just keep troubleshooting this. At least I've narrowed it down.
When I finally figure it out I'll post back.
