    Max Max DV HDR10 compatible?

Befor (a few versions back) I was able to download videos from Max in 4k Dolby Vision HDR10 compatible format, but that is gone now, it seems...

How do I download the videos in that format now? Should I download them in DV format? Will the videos display normally on my Nvidia Shield TV Pro 2017 connected to my Samsung TV, (both these devices lack Dolby Vision...)

    try with version 6.2.4.1 - https://streamfab.com/downloader-new.htm
(you may need to get that version from the member center)

Of course not all title offer the H265 options ..
.. then only H265 SDR is available.
I see no problem with current SF (tested in SE):

What I wonder is if I select the 'Dolby Vision' format, is that does that fall back to HDR10?
(like it did a few versions back)? Now I must choose between DV or HDR10, which means I must download the movie twice (If I want to watch it on either my Nvidia Shield 2017/Samsung TV or if I would like to watch it in the best quality on my Shield 2019/LG C3 TV...

It was much better before when I could choose a 'universal' format (Dolby Vision HDR10 compatible)

If I select Dolby Vision instead HDR10 - it's of course not HDR10:

I never saw a Max title with DV but no HDR10 - so no fall back needed/used

Previously you had to set it in VIP settings - now you can choose on-the-fly
but the offer and result are the same - so what?

btw: If you need an "universal format" use SDR instead
