Netflix H265 or Not ?

Hello guys.

I can see a lot of H265 Netflix releases (movie or show) like Squid Game S03 or Raid 2.
Could you please explain the reason why we cannot have this on SF once and for all ?

I get Squid Game s03e01 in H265 without a problem (except with ad-based Standard plan)

It is a NF show - so H265 is offered by NF ..
.. but all licensed titles (no NF in-house productions) are not (more) offered in H265.

So SF can't download what not exist - SF has no influence on the NF offer

H265 is obsolete for NF licensed films ..
.. e.g. for all only 540p offered films (Sony + Universal)
since NF switched to AV1 HDR10 - see here

H265 is usually only offered for NF in-house productions.

Thank you, I had "with-ad standard plan".
I just changed it to an "ad-free standard" after i 've read you and still no H265 with Squid game !
Is this only available with the premium 4K plan ?
Note: I have the latest version of SF.

H265 SDR has not been offered by NF for a long time.
After that I was offered H265 HDR10 + DoVi with Standard Plan ..
.. but it was not successfully downloadable - see also here
In the meantime, both are no longer displayed with Standard Plan.

With Premium Plan there is also H265 (if available):
