Is it feasible to grab the same data but from Amazon like an unmodified browser when it plays the video? Fewer videos in a day, but possibly harder to detect. I prefer the quality over quantity.

You still have to give a card or something for a trial don't you?
How do you get around this?

New: Some improvements on the Amazon analysis and download engine.
New: Added support to analyze and download video highlights from Amazon Prime Video.

            Wilson.Wang,
Whether you realize it or not, this is a moment of crisis for Amazon StreamFab users. Most of us are avoiding the downloading of Amazon files at all cost. Since Prime Days alone, I've spent pretty close to a $1000 on Amazon merchandise. Between my wife's health and mine, going shopping locally is a rarity. I can't afford to lose my Prime membership. Yet, you give us a new changelog that doesn't specifically address our problem. Luckily, I have not received a warning or a dismembership so far, mainly because it is summer hiatus time in the US and there is really nothing to download that I'm interested in. I would have stopped downloading anyway due to the uncertainty. This uncertainty can only have a bad effect on future sales of StreamFab.
And that's where you come in. You need to break the uncertainty. We need to know if the Amazon changes in 6.2.4.7 are meant to be fixes for the Amazon email warning problem. We need to know what you know about the problem and what you plan to do about it and when. You don't need to go into specifics that will give anything away to Amazon, but we need to know what is going on. One thing I do ask is that you have Erika do the explaining of the problem and hopefully the fix for it. No offense, but she is much better at English than you are. Tell her what to say in Chinese and she will make it clear in English.

It's an interesting situation. We don't know what % of customers got the warning. I never got the waring but I've stopped downloading for now. There's probably other people who are still in the bubble downloading away happily. I suppose we'll see if new people getting warnings keep popping in. Amazon may have noticed a decrease in activity/bandwidth so it's an interesting metric for them.

Some people have mentioned creating 2nd prime accounts to download from. So we may get a bit more information there.

                    Hi all,

We did some improvements in the new version 6247, at least that the process is same as watching the video from Amazon website when analyzing and downloading videos from Amazon in StreamFab.

It should be usefull for the Amazon warning problem.

If you want to create a new account for downloading videos but not have the another credit card, you can order an Amazon Gift Card with your main account and subscript the Amazon Prime with the gift card payment in the new account.

I don't feel comfortable with that answer. "It should be usefull [sic]" does not give one much confidence that you are certain it will fix the problem. I won't be downloading any videos from Amazon until some other guinea pigs use 6.2.4.7 and don't wind up either getting a warning or kicked off of Amazon. In order to get some guinea pigs, would you be willing to give $500 (or its equivalent in the user's country) to any StreamFab 6.2.4.7 user who loses their Amazon Prime membership? Why should the user take all the risk?

I certainly would be hesitant in buying any streamfab modules considering the current situation with amazon.

This is not in all countries possible ..
.. it can't used for pv in Germany => info

                          And with PrimeVideo (outside US/UK):
If you're only paying with Gift Cards, the free trial isn’t available.
I personally prefer vcc (virtual credit cards), which I can cancel at any time ..
.. but for paid channels you need (mostly) a local payment method.

You're asking for guarantees that simply cannot be given, c'mon, of all people you ought to know that

I don't agree. He is the one that is claiming that 6.2.4.7 "should" fix the warning problem. It's about time that they be held accountable for these claims. Lord knows that we are barraged every day with advertisements saying how good everything is. Losing your Amazon Prime membership is too big a deal to be taken lightly with a "should". It's a very specific claim, either 6.2.4.7 does fix the warning problem, or it doesn't. The user is the only one that suffers badly if it doesn't. DvdFab is out nothing. This is not your typical cat and mouse game where you might not be able to use a certain module for a week or two. As the emails say, losing your Amazon Prime account is permanent. Someone that finds themselves in that situation should be compensated by the one making the claim that it won't happen.

C'mon, unless you know what the trigger pattern is, you can't make a guaranteed claim, besides, it might work today, but prime might change the API tomorrow and it'll be detectable again; when playing with fire, you risk getting burned, it's simple as that.
