I can confirm that it's not screen capturing, but is downloading. Each of these eps from Amazon Apple channel took a couple minutes each. This is also with a ton of other things going on with my machine as well.

I started using a burner account a couple of weeks ago to test out the theory. I have not received any emails on my normal account or the burner as of this post. I download a lot from a bunch of the key players with amazon channels including HBO, starz, paramount, etc.

Currently at the moment, I've got these subscriptions on my normal account and have downloaded tons prior to the last couple of weeks with no warning:

My recent burner account only has an apple subscription. Both accounts are US based. I use them both with and without a VPN. It just depends on which machine is downloading. Prior to this latest incident, I've had all three machines running amazon downloading simultaneously with different shows that were long (it helped utilize my daily 100 SF credits). I have indeed stopped using my main account until further notice just to be on the safe side. Until then, I'll keep pushing this burner account and if anything changes I'll be sure and share the info.

Also, would like to mention I had been using 6.2.4.5 until the day before yesterday. I've only been on 6.2.4.7 for about 2 days. I have also purchased a few hundred movies over time and have never watched any of them on the website. I've only used streamfab to download. I've rented probably about a dozen titles, same way but never returned after downloading. Everything I've done with streamfab has been US based with all modules.

I’m not sure why you are mad, I’m guessing you were doing work for them at one point and then the relationship soured but at this point blasting them all over the forms is bad show. Take it easy, why not make a burner account for Amazon and continue to download etc?

I have a couple of custom scripts and do sone tweaks to the inbuilt Chromium too whether that makes any difference.

Streamfab is a great program that was a one-time cost. Don't be too harsh on it as it's a workaround or "hack" to protection placed on media.

Communication isn't their strong point being Chinese, but they try.

If it ever tries to re-encode, it fails. All downloads are downloads currently. and data is in are in line with *other* tools.

No dice with my nukes (post 122) AMZN account, they will not re enable it but hardly surprising. shame we can't use "gift cards" or virtual cards for subs or I could "wing it"
As far as I know you can use gift cards for subs. I made a burner account and I bought a movie with it.

    Hi,

All of services are Download mode, it's the mistake that does not update the article since LAST DRM issue fixed.

I did 3 movies before and they were almost instant, I assure you it isn’t encoding. What was your cpu usage during processing? Most likely it’s just some anomaly, just fyi even on recode the remux would be the same speed as a download.

The post with info at the top of the page seems out of date.
It harks back to the days when Apple was 480 but I recently downloaded Shining Girls and it said 1080 when downloading and the visuals are clearly not 480

Then when the browser people complicated things, I then used to use a cache inspector program and 'plucked' the stream from a cache folder (the cache inspector had a sort by time/date function to make it easier, looking for something by file size that seemed right). Taking the cached file never required a re-encode. I know, YT stuff wasn't DRM protected so that is why. But even if it was as described above, wouldn't the cached file just need the DRM removed? Why would they need to process it like a screen recorder?
They don’t, everything is working as expected and hopefully Wilson.Wang can confirm that for us quickly and we can get back to the topic at hand which is the Amazon warning emails and if anyone has gotten one using the new version of the software

Everything is working as expected and I’m also not seeing anymore posts about warnings or bans that took place after the update. I think all is good here for now at least. I’m still going to use a burner account as should everyone but I downloaded 3 movies and 2 of them were from p+ through Amazon and haven’t received anything.

I agree with jpp72 und Germania. This website version is still from the DRM lockdown... I was briefly on the site myself before the Amazon email came... If you click on the second tab, you'll see that all modules are stored in download mode...

I value my Prime membership a whole hell of a lot more than I trust StreamFab's methods. And I refuse to throw good money after bad to get a second Amazon account.
That webpage was from the last DRM change from March 2024. They first enabled it for Amazon in 6.1.6.8, Netflix in 6.1.7.0 and Peacock in 6.1.7.8.

It's a known fact that the way StreamFab was requesting the license was not proper so it makes more sense that's what has changed.

To top it all off, Germania has done the actual test and files are identical in 6.2.4.6 and 6.2.4.7.

Wilson.Wang, please clarify if Amazon is pure download or re-encode so we can all move on. Also, tell Erika to update that page to reflect the current situation
