I've got 6.2.5.0 on one computer and 6.2.5.2 on another. I'm back to using my normal US account and nothing here. I'm hammering 100 per day over the last 3 weeks, and about 10-20 per day prior to 3 weeks ago. Both computers have been the same Amazon account using streamfab since the dawn of creation and all the updates over time.

I retired my test account set up with my 3rd computer since it went past the 30 days and that one was hammered for 100/day. No email warnings from either account. Been using all 3 with and without VPN. Everything is US based so not sure if that makes a difference.

I use the applety, HBO and another via Amazon as has been more reliable for me doing 1080p. US, no VPN, legit long time account. I got the Apple account via Amazon expressly do download a bunch of movies I'd purchased over the past decade to keep without the DRM, and also for couple of the series. Zero issues. Not all of my Apple purchases show up on my Amazon account to download due to licensing things, but 60% or so do, so a win for me.

Someone at Reddit said he got the warning despite never download anything from Amazon--not with SF, not with anything. He was super confused and did a Google search and that was how he found the reddit thread. So we still don't know if SF is really the trigger here.

SF's response to warning emails from Amazon is ..
.. just download twice as much:

                  No words...

Well, then Max and Hulu will have to pay extra too...
NEVER use the update function within Streamfab. Always download the offline file!

My only reason to use Amazon is to get H265.

StreamFab needs to concentrate on bringing H265 to all modules where the provider supports it so we don't have to rely on Amazon as much.

We already know Paramount+ and Peacock offer H265 but SF can't figure it out.

BTW, I haven't got the warning yet. Based in the US, no VPN, ad-supported. Granted I don't download much right now, just the occasion new releases, and I'm slowly replacing my Crunchyroll anime collection for multi-audio and better sound. But there was a time a couple of years ago when I was pushing the daily limit because I subscribed to Paramount+ through Prime during a promotion and wanted to get everything before the 3 months was up (all of Star Trek, NCIS, CSI, and others, hundreds of episodes, plus movies). I rent and purchase, no cancellations, but I almost never watch them on Prime.

A year ago, we would have needed 200 a day.

Now they come along and want money for it – simply ridiculous.

The funny thing is, even if you buy this package, one module still doesn't work. Then you've wasted your money. I think SF should offer the package for free. After all, we've all had to deal with various modules not working at all, sometimes for a very long time. This is a real kick in the butt for loyal users.

                              ... anyone?
Fab just upped the limit to 200 downloads a day, but they want $9.95 to do so. So if 100 is too much, Fab has not received the message.

OUTRAGEOUS to charge that much and PER year. It was highly suggested for Amazon because of the multiple providers Amazon offers.
Now I would not even do 20, let alone 100 or 200.
The extra 100 should be a given due to the overall charge for streamfab. Plus, the risk factor will only increase for those who go to 200.
So you get charged extra and at least double the chance to lose your Amazon account.
Things can't be fully accomplished without proper access.
Things need to be done with active moderatoration.

Disclaimer: Use of a VPN can NOT be fixed by StreamFab staff or members.
