I feel bad for the DVDFab guys!

Right about now they are looking at these posts and are thinking "What did we get ourselves into?" Their company reputation and future are on the line.

They know these boxes are junk because they probably can't get their boxes to work either. They are wondering how to fix the boxes in a timely manner and not sure what to do.

I will tell them what to do... GET ON THIS BOARD AND COMMUNICATE! Let us know that they are aware of the problem(s) and what they intend to do to make it right. Most of us are patient and want them to be successful but they have to step up and work with us.

But maybe if dvdfab cares they should send us all new different units that actually work properly, I am really doubting that this vidon.me can actually work properly at all.

I purchased this vidon.me cause it was dvdfab, and there software is second to none, and there 5" player I received free when I purchased the all in one gift for my mac, that player is great and works.

If they don't fix this soon or refund money to us, that will not be good for them or us. I recommend their software all the time and many purchase.

Wow, all I can say.
After months of waiting patiently for this touted device, it finally arrived.
Once the initial pleasure that after 4 months I had my set-top box it was all downhill from there.
This is in my opinion the worst media device I have ever owned or used. Maybe I was spoiled by the ease of use of the Western Digital players I own, but I had to walk away from this twice already.
I was first a bit shocked to learn no wi-fi, really kids toys have wi-fi now-a-days.
The set up was worse than algebra, nothing like a smart tv or any other electronic you turn on and it walks you through step by step.
Once I got it semi-functioning, I plugged in my external drive. It took five times longer than my WD player to recognize and populate the files on it.
Play back quality was less than impressive. It played like a streaming video over a low band width connection. Choppy and pixelated.
Once I did hook up a ethernet over power connection, I thought maybe a software update, and all would be right. Not so much.
If I paid for this, it would have been sent back by now.
The only consolation I have is since it was free, I won't feel horrible when I smash the box out of frustration.
I am thoroughly pleased with the software, in retrospect I should have opted for the Amazon gift card.
DVDFab should be ashamed to be aligned with this outfit.

If this box was my first experience with DVDFab I probably wouldn't have ever bought their software, I fear they have made a mistake pairing with VidOnMe.

Has any new software been released in the last few weeks? I don't even want to turn it on to see as I am so frustrated. Not sure how this was able to be released. Would have rather waited a few more months. Imagine how bad it would have been if we would have received them in March!

I got a dead player that:
- Do not display videos!
- Do not update!
- Do not ha skilled attendance at post sale!
- No instruction manual!
- No technical support!
- No solution to a simple problem to reinstall software!
- No solution to problems firmware update!
- No solution!
- No display videos from DVD-Fab
- No ....

This box is junk and I now see you offer the Android Mini-PC version. Is that any better? And if so, can we expect a replacement for these set-top boxes?
