    Usb 3.0

I would like to ask about USB 3.0 support
Manual says, that there are 2xUSB 2.0 (I guess two at the back of device),
and 1xUSB 3.0 (I guess on the left side), but physically there is no USB 3.0
ports (there are no power pins in a deep of USB port and no icon of USB 3.0

So there is a mistake on Manual or there is another version of device?
I tried to play Movie from BD catalog but it was terrible to see how it was played

I am so happy, that DVDs and many videos from pendrive devices are now
played correctly, but slow USB port removes entertainment from BDs :/

You're barking up the wrong tree on this one, USB 2.0 is more than fast enough for HD video. The device has issues.

      Agreed...

Look at it this way: -

Question: What's the highest bit-rate file you're ever likely to play using a hardware media player?
      Answer: A Blu-ray disc back-up!

      Question: What's the highest bit-rate of a Blu-ray disc?
      Answer: Around 54Mbps - ie: 6.75MBps!

Conclusion... You don't need a fast spinning HDD with fast read/write speeds. You don't need fast read/write USB 3.0 speeds

And as a general rule, you are far better using powered USB drives for media player content.

Oh... OK, that's good and I understand.
But I have plugged-in LaCie 1TB USB 2.0 with external power
to the Media Player and opened Shrek BD-50 in folders (non-iSO).
Media Player found longest steam and opened it, but movie framed,
it was not so fluently :/

But when I plug the HDD to PC via USB 2.0 It plays correctly....
I van also say, that data are not fragmented on a HDD...

Any other ideas? I am so sad

To re-quote what 90312 has already said: "The device has issues..."

We are all suffering the same problems and are awaiting firmware updates.

            Cheers

No offense or anything but If you are waiting still, best bet is to keep waiting until a great fix is avail or you will be very disappointed like the rest of us.

Right now mine and most others are just paperweights until a major firmware is released or something else.

                  Re: USB 3.0

On this device, it seems the problem is not the USB chipset but the internal horsepower-- just not enough speed/power to cope with a true USB 3 data rate and decode+display the video+cope with its other internal tasks and housekeeping. New firmware could help with this hopefully.

When it comes to USB 3 connectivity. The 'typical' data transfer speeds will be nothing like as fast as the 'promoted' speeds. Just as with USB 2.0
