    Custom compression

I would like to have a option there I could set different compression
on individual titles on a DVD (similar to DVD Shrink).

So you could set more compression on extras and menus,
and less compresson on the movie it self.

    I hope this make sense

This makes perfect sense to me, and I think it is great that this request, which has been made by many, is the first one in the new forum. Thanks for putting it at the top of the new list Hubbabub.

A reminder to everyone to start a new thread for each feature request so we can discuss this one here. The Rate Thread feature of this forum (in the upper right) will let give you a way of "voting" on how much each feature is wanted by the users, good info for the development staff.

      Yup, I couldn't agree more.
A definite 5-star request and an excellent way to kick-off this thread.
      Nicely done Hubbabub.

        A Definite 5 star request ( even if I can't rate yet )

I like the Full Disc option but would not mine cutting down the quality of the extras for more quality on the Movie.

Removal of new protections may not be available yet in the free version of DVDFab (HD Decrypter)

Somewhat related would be the ability to define custom compression for portions of a title. Specifically, the ability to have a lower quality on the credits (and maybe the intro) of the movie. Unfortunately, this is not always a chapter.

I think this would be useful in DVD, Mobile, and even Blu-Ray (once it has compression).

              DVD Shrink approach to Compression

I've always been a fan of the way you can change the amount of compression for different chapters that go on the DVD.

For the previews, MAX compression option.

              For the movie, MIN compression.

Would be sweet if Fab could do this.

Honestly guys, these days with the prices of HDD Media Players and 1Tb, 1.5 & 2Tb drives I don't know why you still persist with burning DVD's.

Agreed... this is one of the two features that I would love to see added. I used to do this with Shrink back in the day. Would like to see this implements on both DVD to DVD as well as DVD to Mobile.

The second feature I would like to see is chapter support on DVD to Mobile. This would make life easier. I have also used this in other software before so I do know it is a possibility.
