When I ripped my first DVD to PS3 I didn't adjust any components/parameters (frame resolution, bitrate etc), more or less just ripped the DVD with all 'pre-choiced' recommendations/parameters. I wasn't impressed of the outcome when looking at the movie on my 42" plasma TV (via the PS3 machine). Files are stored on an external WD hard disk drive.
I've also read 'Convert DVD to PS3' and 'Conversion Settings' on dvdfab.com
How to adjust certain parameters to get/gain the same video quality as the purchased DVD record?
"Size matters", or!? ;-)
If there is any thread in this matter, please show me, and yes; I am a rookie in this matter.
Many thanx from a snowy and cold Stockholm
