This is not necessary on my machine, but it runs with a single user account and with UAC off. This may not be a bug at all, perhaps a windows update triggers it.Originally posted by glow View PostJust configure shortcut properties so always runs app as admin.
This is a bug in program since didn't need this before.
However, solution is easy.Supplying DVDFab Logs in the Forum ...........................User Manual PDF for DVDFab v11................................ Guide: Using Images in Posts

I turned off UAC and rebooted my machine. The icon has the yellow/blue windows shield on it even though run as administrator is not (repeat not) selected in program properties. All turning off UAC did was save the step of having to explicitly select run as administer in program properties... it does not solve the issue as it still requires administrator to run. BTW - running Win 7 Pro with multiple user accounts.

Thank you for you log RClark,
But I'm afraid this is NOT ae problem of failed to launch DVDFab 8159, this is the 303 error which can't open the BD+ protection disc.
Attached a part of log
"0m 07.76s: drive F
0m 07.76s: blu-ray type 1
0m 07.76s: volume label CONTAGION
0m 08.01s: aacs 1 bd+ 1
"
The movie CONTAGION for Region code B will be support later, we are working on this now.
To others:
Please post your internal log here, since we need more info to locate the problem of launch DVDfab 8159.
Thanks,
Potti
