That's not a log. Run dxdiag and take a screen shot.

Check the log folder anyway, there may be something in it. Look at the internal log, there may be entries even if the GUI does not appear.

I gave the DirectX version as 9.0c
there is no internal log as dvdfab did not start to produce a log file

I did recheck there is nothing there, the last entry is for 9.0.6.3 and thats it

It may be time to seriously consider migrating to Windows 7 guys. XP is going the way of Windows 2000. Microsoft will end support on April 8, 2014 so its days are numbered.

That does not explain the fact that 9063 run great but all versions past that will not run, so I tend to think that the problem is on there end, if dvdfab is dropping winxp then they should let people know this.

I didn't say anything of the sort. Just making some assumptions, maybe incorrectly, that if a developer asks what DirectX version you have that it might be at issue. I have no idea what the developers are doing?

something changed starting in 9065 - 9070 because 9063 works great for me no problems there. and thats with directx 9.0c which is what version i told them i have.

every recent entry is from 9.063 back to 9.042

I have not had or done any updates after the first month of having win xp pro
so losing support from microsoft doesn't mean didly to me
and I can't/will not use any other windows versions
I have never had an outside attack on my computer or internal problems with the modified/customized/built myself version I'm running and everyone else I know that has had from vista up has already had problems with viruses, hardware fail , hdd crashes
so I hope/pray dvdfab never changes their software to the point it doesn't support ALL SP VERSIONS of windows xp
and I have always wondered why when I have purchased the DVD COPY version of the software that it HAS to have the blue ray version and all of the other versions included(trial versions) if I wanted them or needed them you would think there would be a trial version you could download and try THEN if you wanted them you could buy them.
some times I think it is the blue ray/etc sections that effect the overall problems that we encounter, because it seems that is the sections that are always being updated. When I used to write programs (back in the stone age) everything was in modules, so they could be worked on without effecting the rest of the program. Now I'm rambling because I know software now-a-days isn't the same as it use to be

Well I dug my 18 pound laptop out of the closet that runs XP SP3. Fab loads but won't paint the screens. There does seem to be an issue with XP and DVDFab.

Thank you for the feedback, we will solve this problem as soon as possible.

By the way, DVDFab will continue to be supported on Windows XP in the subsequent period.
