Freezing on new release

    Other Freezing on new release

    noticed in last 3 of my back up copies that freezing/pixel issues are consistant in first part of chapter 2 on all 3 attempts. Is anyone else experiancing this on 9.1.1.5? This started after newest release installed...thanks

    Disable GPU and have a try. Are you burn to disc and play it on the player device?
    Please post your logs the default location is:
    For DVDFab8_Win7 & Win8 C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
    For DVDFab9_Win7 & Win8 C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab9\Log
    For Mac: /User/User name/Documents/DVDFab/Log
    Please use attachment button and attach your most recent, Internal log and post right here.
    If it's the burning issue, please also attach burn log.

        i disabled gpu...tried again, still at chapter 2 distortion, and pixelation?? i can fast forward to chapter 3 and balance of dvd plays perfectly? I am not tech savy on computers, one reason why i like dvd fab is that it is plug/paly...would like to learn more about other items, yet must be shown, or taught on how to use other items... since i have downloaded newest version, been disappointed on why all of the sudden have issues at chapter 2...then everything perfect... gone thru multiple blank discs experimenting... so will wait till newer version comes out and try again...

          Hi ditda
          A few things you could try is changing your burn engine from the VSO, to the DVD Fab , or even ImgBurn.
          If you try the ImgBurn burn engine you will need to follow the instructions in the link in my signature on setting it up with Fab.

          The disc's your using are really not that good for video archiving, sorry!!!
          Try picking up some Verbatim with the AZO dye in the label.

          You should also consider installing the latest Windows updates for your computer.

            Ditd: Info Writing speed requested x8.0, effective x8.0a:

            You are burning these cheap blank disks way to fast.Please set burn speed for 4x or even 2x and try again.See screen shot on how to below.

              Were you use dvd copy or bd copy? How about copy to hard drive?
              It only happend on this dvd? What is the dvd name? Did you try any other disc?
              Please open Fab click the option top right > click open log folder and copy and past your internal log.

                One thing I noticed is the firmware for your burners are out of date.
                This could possibly have some impact on both reading and writing disks.

                Plextor PX-712A Newest firmware version 1.09
                Your current firmware is 1.05

                Lite-On LH-20A1P Newest firmware version KL0P
                Your current firmware is KL05

                  Freezing Gone

                  Wanted to thank everyone who commented on my 2nd chapter freeze issue. I went to Verbatim disc...all perfect... Using poor quality disc seemed to be the problem...was given a stack of memorex disc's....now the copy is perfect as it should be.
