How come some posts go to moderation and others do not? Also why do posts that are a simple basic answer to another members question not approved when sent to moderation

Hi Details
As a new member your posts will go to moderation for a moderator to approve them, this has always been this way so that we can keep spammers and trolls off this forum.
Once you have been a frequent member on the forum with posts, the moderation of your posts will be lifted and you will be given the title of "member".

Edit: As you said, I have not seen your post that was deleted but, I have deleted one of your other posts, please stop posting the same thing over and over in threads. ThanksLast edited by CBR929; 06-12-2014, 01:37 PM.Even if it's a little thing, do something for those who have need of help, something for which you get no pay but the privilege of doing it.

If the post was in the moderation queue it would have stayed there until approved. Posts don't just disappear from the queue. How to post the internal log

What most people do not know is that there is a separate "moderator control panel" that only we mods can log into. From there new members post go until one of us reviews them and validates them to show on the forum, there is no time limit as to how long they stay there.
From there also we can ban members and so forth.

There was 6 posts, I had deleted one in this thread http://forum.dvdfab.cn/showthread.ph...765#post163765 no one can see that it was deleted but us mods, any mod can see that it was deleted and can still view it and or return it back to the forum, the reason it was deleted was it offered no help to the other person but still complaining about posts being moderated.Last edited by CBR929; 06-12-2014, 11:37 PM.Even if it's a little thing, do something for those who have need of help, something for which you get no pay but the privilege of doing it.

If I remember correctly the post that is missing was made before I made this one http://forum.dvdfab.cn/showthread.ph...637#post163637 and the one in the link did not go into post moderation it showed up on the forum immediately after I posted it.

They all go into moderation, it is automatic. I am not sure I understand why you have felt it necessary to make such a public issue of this. It has worked this way for 4+ years and is unlikely to change.Supplying DVDFab Logs in the Forum ...........................User Manual PDF for DVDFab v11................................
