Yes I have and it still fails to load. I'm at a loss. I did install it on my laptop where it works fine but I really need it to work on my desktop. I've spent days trying to do a complete uninstall and reinstall. Nothing I have done works.

          Same problem here

I'm having the same problem. I just updated to the official version, and attempted to start the program. After a much longer than usual time, it come up that it failed to connect to the Internet. I attempted to run 9.2.1.7 on another computer but it experiences the same issue.

I know. I was trying an older version to see if the problem existed in it also. It does.

My problems began when I updated to 9.2.1.8. I received a message telling me that some new feature required the update to delete previous versions. However after I updated I checked my programs left on my pc only to find that several versions from 7 through 8 and multi copies of version 9 still existed on my pc.

Possible solution (at least it worked for me)

I decided to try a complete uninstall and reinstall. When I did, I discovered there were two copies of the program trying to run at the same time. I uninstalled them, but then found part of the program did not uninstall. I manually deleted that entire folder and then did a new install.

As an extra precaution, I used my cell phone's network to activate the program(just to rule out any blocking of servers and such), which was done successfully. I then switched to my regular network and it is running completely normal.

I would recommend doing a complete uninstall using Windows uninstaller, check to make sure the program has been completely deleted, and THEN do a fresh install.

Is it possible that I am downloading the wrong dvdfab file? I'm in the US and I know it is a different file. I have uninstalled and reinstalled dvdfab over 20 times. I have wiped my hard drive of any trace of dvdfab. I have used registry cleaners. The web site you list above with the old versions I believe are before the split of the world version and the US version and I get the same result every time. The programs stops loading at about 137000 bytes and the task manager shows the program as NOT RESPONDing. The install programs attempts to load the program without advising you when you hit the FINISH button. Previously it use to tell you it needed to reboot before loading the program.

The US is no longer a different file, has not been for some time. Versions prior to v9.2.1.5 are looking for the wrong server address and will never be able to do a Blu-ray or activate properly. The QA Team will be back online in about 28 hours, we will see what they can tell us.

All I can tell you is after I did what I reported earlier, the version I downloaded from the download page worked perfectly with no hitches or problems what so ever.

have you checked to see if your graphics card drivers
are up to date or if they are try rolling back to an earlier driver.

The problem is in the installation program. It never gets to Live Update. All traces of dvdfab have been removed from this pc. It has worked on this pc since 2009. Now it won't reinstall correctly.
