    Other Blue Ray

    Am new to Blue Ray, just did my first dvd (Minions) using the cinavia removal , is it normal for the copy process to take over an hour + and burn time about 45 min + ????

    what are the specs of your computer setup ??
    like processor, graphics card ect.

      AMD processor. Phenom (tm) II x4 960 T processor 300GHz....64 bit Ram 8GB Win 7 serv pk 1

      Am using Verbatim BD-R LTH Type 25 GB,6x speed (given to me) are these the norm ??

        As to processing time, you must remember that a Blu-ray can contain as much as 5x as much data as a DL DVD. They take longer to read, longer to write and longer to compress. The times you listed are a little below average, but not out of line for the PC you are using. If you want better times, ask some of our experienced users what they are using. As with DVDs, the most common bottleneck is your optical drive, be sure to check the specs (read and write speeds) and see if that is holding you back.
