DVDFab 9.2.3.1 crashes when reencode using Nvida GeForce 940M Cuda

It crashed when it tried to use this Cuda driver. I tried 3 times, same result, DVDFab just exited. It re-encoded okay but took much longer without Cuda.

Which driver? I'm using 361.91 and all is well.

It turns out that Nvida 940M is not the active display adapter, Intel 5200 is; so how to switch to use Nvida instead of Intel?

This is a new Asus UX303UB laptop and it is configured like this. I try to do it from the display setting, but it wouldnt allow me to switch to a different display adapter, only Intel shows up. Under the device manager, both show up.

I would check the BIOS setup and see if the discrete video card can be selected before disabling Intel in device manager.

My laptop has a button and hotkey to turn the GPU on or off (switch from Intel to GPU), maybe yours does also. May be hard to find. Mine was poorly marked.

I talked to Asus, they said that there is no botton to toggle between GPUs.

From the bios, there is no information about GPU or even SSD or HD. So the only option is probably to disable the Intel Graphics from Device Manager, but that is risky since if Nvidia doesnt come up, then there would be no display???

I play around with Nvida Control Panel, under Manage 3D settings, Global Settings, I switch it to High-perforance Nvidia processor. Under Set PhysX Configuration, it is set to GeForce 940M. I even change Program Settings to use global setting (High-performance Nvidia processor) for DVDFab 9, but that doesn't work either, DVDFab crashes as soon as it starts to re-encode.

I just don't understand why under Advanced Display Settings, there is no option to switch GPU, currently when I click Display adapter properties, only Intel 520 Properties shows up.
