Wanting to make use of the Cinavia removal module and believing this disc to be infected I purchased on eBAY a Blu-ray of Django Unchained without a case very cheap and it contained the master audio 5.1 English track but no Cinavia, yet this title is on the infected Blu-ray list. Would you happen to know more about how or why this might be?

Not a rental

I have the US retail version of this disc and it most certainly has Cinavia, which DVDFab removes correctly. What you have is almost certainly a Korean knockoff of the original which may or may not have Cinavia but if it is a counterfeit, it may or may not contain the Cinavia infection but will not match the disc ID of the true original which means that DVDFab will not recognize the infection. Please post Cinavia questions in the correct forum in the future and attach the DVDFab internal log session.Supplying DVDFab Logs in the Forum ...........................User Manual PDF for DVDFab v11................................ Another way to find out for sure is to put the disk in img burn and see what brand of blank disk was used to copy the disk the store brought disk will use one brand of blank disk for the whole run where as a boot leg disk will use cheaper low cost blanks.Another hint is to look for misspelled words.Ebay has been long know for bootlegged items from coins to art to dvd's buyer beware.

Should of said in my last post when looking for bootleg disks put disk in Img burn select (read) disk look for IMP ID look at file size to see if bootleg disk is compressed and look at burn speeds for disk in drive they may be different from store brought disk that you need to compare these value's to.Also look to see if disk was made region free in addition to disk serial number.Misspelled words are a dead giveaway as well as region free.Last edited by 3dman; 04-25-2017, 10:12 PM.

Everything checks out as Genuine
1. The shiny side of the BD has those markers and numbers like all genuine BD'S 2. Has Master audio 3. Is Cinavia free 4. Has full length, and fully working menus 5. Plays perfectly on ps4 6. shows no signs of being counterfeit 7. Came with a second bonuses disc (making of the movie). 8. Nothing odd showing in ImgBurn 9. Is AACS protected 10. Confirmed by passkey to be region ALast edited by ScorpionStingz; 04-26-2017, 01:22 AM.
