I just tried a zipped file with a log file in it.This also says invalid file.Log files can be pasted to the text in the type text reply box but that's not the way the staff want them.

Same thing invalid file if you click on the camera share photo's symbol from a selected photo on your hard drive the other choice only lets you post from a posted on your avatar's photo album I didn't try that as I have no pictures in it.

Go to your My Profile page.
          Select the Media tab.
Click on the Blue name of the Album or image.
In the lower right there is a prncil icon followed by "Edit".
          Click on "Edit".
There is a word Insert: followed by choices in Blue . Remove is one of the choices.
Only it doesn't remove the image.
There is also a Trash icon. When you select "Edit Photos".
It is by the right bottom of the photo.
It removes the photo but there is no way to leave the box but choose "Cancel".
That leaves the photo as if you never selected the trash icon.
I couldn't figure out anything else to do.

That's exactly correct no way to delete a photo from your saved pictures theirs buttons to edit and like you said a trash can to delete the picture during edit but it doesn't let you out of the frame after the picture is deleted only choices is upload and cancel.Being signals and the mods. don't have any problems with posting things to the forum it's logical to seek the answer from the software for this forum that has their own forum page.If thats how the new forum works then it's useless for us as we can't post here even zipped files with logs in them not to mention screen shots that shows much even the international forums can understand a screenshot even if you can't talk their language.I hope this gets fixed fast or go back to the old forum that didn't have all these problems.

                All,
Try using png or jpg instead of jpeg. The size limits are higher and the forum should not try to process the image as it will with jpegs. To make it work as it did before, just upload ("Send to Server") then choose thumbnail from the size options. I will check the current size limits and permissions for all types of uploads (including .log and .txt) again, they may have been corrupted in the change, some things were.

I just tried 3 .png files resized to the mini-size the forum allows.
These were all the same image done resized with 3 different image softwares.
Note I was able to upload this image to an album in my profile.
Any suggestions for the software to resize with ?
I would need to resize almost ant image I have to post it.
All come up as "Invalid File" using "Send to Server".
I did check a .txt file that did the same .
                  I haven't tested a .log or .zip .

The real issue I have is not being able to post .txt files. I'm trying to post logs in another thread to troubleshoot why a bluray isn't ripping.

The permissions are set to allow very large .txt and .log files by any registered user in any forum where posts are allowed.Try editing and saving the log file with Notepad in Windows and limiting it to the log session in question. If you have a year's worth of log sessions in the log file, it may be too large. Also try changing the .txt file suffix to ,log, although this should not matter. Is this failing in the Blu-ray Copy or Blu-ray Ripper forum?

It failed in the ripper forum (only the session I was having problems with on the log) and I noticed another person posted that he couldn't post his logs. I then started this thread.

After I do steps one and two, I get a popup that says invalid file.

We don't have what shows in your screen shot in blue advanced options insert or remove just upload attachments or upload from URL.
Nothing works here not even a zip with a single log file or a PNG and I don't see in the forum here options to send thumbnail file I had to shrink in windows paint then in save to I pick PNG and it still says invalid file. Also can't delete a picture from the photo album seems theirs a way to and it works but then you get a corrupted box that says upload or cancel no way to continue.I think your going to have to retranfer the whole forum maybe their a different way to do it that the creators may help you with it.

As a workaround Links do work if you have a free cloud account you can post a picture their or log file and post the shared link here.Google email accounts come with free cloud server space 15gigs they call drive so this will be a free solution for the time being.Use the paper clip to post link other ways many not work.

I just tried a 7kb dvdfab_internal.logthat I deleted all but one opening of DVDFab 10 from.
As you can see it didn't post.

Same for a .txt file created with Notepad that was one short sentence & 1kb.
So even very small files are no posting or attaching.

On image files I tried several .png & I also tested with another browser FireFox portable.
My regular browser is Opera beta.
