    Task_2 failed! Error=1...still!!!

    Hey everyone,

I continue to get this error with "The Other Guys" when it gets to the point to burn on the Protected Disc full movie copy option. I've been following another thread concerning this issue on "The Social Network", but while using the new beta I think i've been able to narrow my specific problem down.

In the vso log I get:

"2011-04-05 17:37:53 Error INIT ERROR: There is not enough free space of the ISO path. Required 20.72 Gb. - available 18.13 Gb."

I think this is a drive compatibility problem because the free space on my blank bd-r definitely is not 18.13 gigs.

The drive i'm using is an asus:

    All the help is appreciated!

    Thanks ahead of time!!!

    Hi teedster
The error you are getting is you do not have enough free space on your hard drive, not your optical drive.
I believe you can not make a protected disc using an ISO, your target needs to be your optical drive.
Click my computer and right click your C drive > properties,
What does it say for free space?
Also please post your "FULL MOST RECENT" logs the default location is:
    For Win7 C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
    or Vista C:\Users\User Name\Documents\DVDFab\Log
    or for XP C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
Please use attachment button and attach your most recent, Internal and Burn log(s) and post right here.

Ok, so I realized that not having HDD space was the new stupid error that I did myself, but i attached the latest internal/burn logs of the consistent issue I was having prior.

Looks like the "failed to get mk 302" is the issue...any ideas?

        Hi teedster
Have no idea what that error is, you may have to have one of the developers tell you.
The other guys has Cinavia, and I take it you know that you need to make a protected disc and click the box on the full disc backup screen.
Sorry could not be of more help

Yeah, I've actually tried every official release since the Cinavia Protected Disc option was added. It's been a lot of trial and error haha!

Was this supposed to be fixed in 8.0.8.8 beta?

I still receive the same error

Just got this program a week ago and tried to backup Resident Evil Afterlife to a BD-R disk. I have the same ASUS external burner and the BD-R is a Verbatim but I'm using version 8.0.8.5, not the beta. Not sure if that matters. Anyway, tried to burn the main movie and checked the box to make a BDMV-REC and waited to rip the movie. When I put in the BD-R in, it gave me a process failed error and "Task_2 failed! Error=1" in the dvdfab_process folder. I have plenty of space in my HDD so I'm not sure if this is a bug or something I'm doing wrong.

Here is the burn file. It seems the internal file is too large.

Just tried it again with Resident Evil Afterlife and a new disk and it failed again. This time I used an Optical Quantum. I copied the burn and internal log text from just today. At the end of the internal log I have the following error:
63m 05.41s: failed to generate binding nonce: sensekey 05 asc 21 acsq 00
63m 05.41s: failed to generate valid binding nonce

Last night I copied RE: Afterlife to a disk last night by selecting my external hard drive as the destination, then burning a BD-R disk from there. But, because I didn't have the box available to check so I can make a protected backup, I got the cinavia message box at about 20 min into the movie.

I tried to burn another disk again today and it failed like before. I selected Main Movie, checked the box to make a protected disk, and it just won't work for me. After I take the original disk out and put the BD-R in, it thinks for a second and then gives me the process fail error.

I selected everything under video codec to Software, and have all the boxes check on the blu-ray tab for decoding. Also, I think I have a check mark in the delete temp files when done. My writable media size is set to 2300. Has anyone been able to make a backup of this blu-ray? Am I missing something in the settings perhaps?
