Task_2 failed! Error=1...still!!!

I've let it sit over night and it still has hung on the 00166.m2ts and I have completely uninstalled deleted all of the files and reinstalled.

Unfortunately now as well, my main movie protected disc of the other guys skips ahead to different scenes and then the video gets choppy at about 35 minutes in...the ps3 doesn't say that cinavia is detected like before but the disc is definitely having some erradic behavior

Anyone else check the disc and find this???

It's stuck at this exact spot for me right now (00166.m2ts). I'm debating on either letting it run all night or cancelling it. I hope they get this fixed soon.

My buddy has the fat PS3 and has issues like my copy of drive angry plays fine on my Sammy I use TDK BDRE 50GB discs. But played on his older PS3 it froze up and skipped, are you able to test your back up on another BD player? I also backed up The Expendables and it would not play on his PS3 but on others!

I'll see if anyone at work has anything other than a PS3 to play my backup on. BTW, I cancelled the full disk backup after 28 hours. It wouldn't get past copying 00166.m2ts, just like teedster's problem. I'm leaning towards DVD Fab software just because the original movie skips in the preview player in the bottom left of DVD Fab.

Now I'm having similar issues to this thread:



Tried to do full disc bdmv-rec compressed to 25gb of the other guys now with 8.1.0.3 and it processed all the way until the end and it showed that the burn process had started but it just hung on that screen with no errors for hours at 0%

I have decided that DVDFab and my burner combo hate the movie "The Other Guys." I've made too many coasters to mention trying to get this movie to burn. I've used the latest .5 version and also the .6 beta version. When I get it to complete a burn, the resulting backup plays on my ps3 for about 10 minutes then starts to skip. Lately I've just been trying the main movie option to try to make a backup. I have tried dropping the burn speed down to 2X but still no matter what setting it's at I either get a Task failed error or a backup that skips. Other backups I've made recently with non Ciniva protected disks burn and play flawlessly, its just this one movie that gives me grief. Hopefully the software writers can resolve this issue soon.
