This Notice is to alert you that the Spring Festival (Chinese New Year) Holiday is underway in China and much of Asia and for this reason the DVDFab Office will be closed until February 4. During this period, support by chat and email will not be available but the forum will be here for any problems you may encounter. Purchases of new products and license renewals may be made normally on the DVDFab website. Thanks for your understanding and Happy New Year!
This version also gives the protection error. One thing i did notice is that my old version of Powerdvd 9 that came bundled with my blu-ray drive i bought a year or so ago, plays the movie fine. It took a while to load (could be downloading updates from the net) and started playing with no issues. Normally you would get a message to update the player but not this time.
Since StealthyClone came into the picture i have not run across this type of error in a very long time and caught me by surprise.
The admin signals said they are working on it. The time depends on how tough it is to crack, if they can at all. I hope this isn't Cinavia's stronger, younger brother!
i can confirm its not Cinavia's younger stronger brother and i believe the fab developers will have a handle on it soon given the time and resources, as its already been handled by a backup route i ended up trying out anyway just to see if their version had it handled yet (two others routes have same issue) and it does as i was able to back it up to harddrive and then use dvdfab to remux into mkv.
BTW wanted to let u all know i like your product very much and only recently came across this new issue
does this require a new download as i do not see any newer ones listed as of today?
Hi curt
No, it does not.
The keys are held on a server so that when a new movie comes out and Fab needs to be updated, you do not have to have a new release of Fab.
CBR929
Even if it's a little thing, do something for those who have need of help, something for which you get no pay but the privilege of doing it.
Hi curt,
Please lauch your Fab and insert the disc to check whether it can be opened or not.
Bad Ass (Region A, US) is supported. If you can open the disc, please post the internal log and tell us which region is the disc. Thanks.
Hi, im out of town right now, however i did try "Get the gringo" (region A also) and i was able to back it up fine before i had to dash out. Should be back in a day or so. Has anyone else tried it yet?
