Which version of Fab are you using? Please try the latest release. Thanks.
No change with latest versions, ive pretty much accepted that it will never change, developers cannot replicate the issue so i guess that means they have nothing to work on.

Gary please confirm you have the latest firmware on your LG BP620.
Latest update was 11-23-12 You should be running BD7697.00 firmware contained in LGBD7002M60.ZIP on the UK web sight for LG. Then check your burner drive for updates.

After re reading the topics on this problem the UK players that are effected with the black screen problem on newer Fox 3d blu rays are LGbp620-Samsung bdc5900-A Panasonic model and a Philips model.

Fab listed they tested on their 3d models as LG BD 670,Sony S490,(Sonys didn't have the problem) and a Panasonic DMP BDT 300.Models with out problems using the Avatar 3d disk. These models are not the same as the models below that had the trouble.

What's not said is if the Avatar disk Fab used is a Europe disk or if the players are made for the Europe market?

What gets me is the 1 poster who took out files that Fab made after making a full disk he remade the full disk without some files and only used the files he needed to make the copy play.

I believe this to be a file called Fab but i am not sure.I think this because that file is not on the store brought disk maybe taken out this file will allow the copy to run in the outboard players.

Will someone try this to see?

Must be a made for Europe 3d Fox disk Avatar or later and one of the effected players from Europe to be a valid test.

Okay, I don't make back up copy of Blu-ray much, just a few movies a year.

But I also have the same problem. It has nothing to do with UK disc. I just try to make a backup copy of Skyfall blu-ray, same problem. Now, I didn't use DVDFab. I use Ideal Solution. It seems they have the same problem as DVDFab.

And like others said, it does play on computer blu-ray player. However, using DAPlayer, it only plays the first 1.06 minute, then it loop back to the very beginning. Although if you move that bar, it can go past that 1.06 min. and continue to watch the movie

Happy hopping:Are you using a Europe blu ray disk and or player?

What make model of blu ray player do you have that your having trouble with?

Skyfall is not a Fox 3d movie that Fab users are having problems with. Some players only give a black screen only.Your problem may be somewhat different.

Have you tried Skyfall with Fab? as I don't see anyone complaining with any movies except Fox 3d movies and only in Europe.

No I haven't try Skyfall w/ DVDFab. I just assume you and Ideal Soln. run into the same problem

I use the Walmart player that is region free. The Blu-Ray blank disc that I use is the very same 1 I use all these years, it's Verbatim from Japan. All the backup works.

By the way, on unrelated issue, I put Fast Five blu-ray as another disc to back up. It says something like not able to copy

Please disregard the last mesg. about Fast Five. Let me re-phrase my question: Is there at least a handful of members who's in North America, able to make a backup copy of Fast Five Blu-Ray, as well as Skyfall Blu-ray.

And able to play the entire movie on their stand alone blu-ray player? Please let me know

1 more quick question, after the blu-ray is burned on the hard drive folder, there is a sub-dir called FAB!

when I burn a blu-ray from say Nero 10, do I need to copy that sub-dir. called FAB?

                  please help

Why are you using Nero? Fab usually handles all of this itself!

Because Nero do the file verify.

Now, is there a list of all the movies, such as skyfall that dvdfab can backup and works?

                        Update:

DVDFAb does NOT have the ability to make a backup copy of skyfall. Same problem as above, it plays that 20th century logo, then it went to a blank screen

Fast Five, however, I was able to make a back up of

I tried with Avatar 3D again with Version 9032beta.

                            And there's still NO CHANGE!!

                            Nothing but Blackscreen on standalone-player!

I tried making an ISO and i tried making a copy to folder first and then copying to Disk.
                            Both with same result...

Will this ever be fixed ?
                            It's unfixed for MONTH now

That's not quite true, there was a huge changelog for 9036, which is not to say your problem was fixed however. I will ask someone to respond in this thread.
