All GPU Codecs Disabled - Checked
      Enable Lightning-Recoding - Unchecked

      BD50 > BD25

I noticed from your last log files that your 50-25 compress did finish (64m 30.97s: compress finished) it didn't report that you canceled it so can you play that file on the computer with a software player? How big is it?

I also noticed in your posted burn log on your burn engine your using vso burn engine you can change that to fab burn engine in software settings if your having trouble burning the disk.

You can also try img burn burner if img burn tells you the file is too big for the disk would you like to burn anyway? It will give you 2 choices use burn to end of disk this will burn until the disk ends cutting off the ending maybe just the credits. This will work for a file that's a little bigger than the disk if its much bigger it won't give you this choice.

          Hi glenns,

I did cancel and then click finish and then exited the program, there are no files in the dvdfab temp dir for main movie, or any of the other dirs --- with a eariler version of DVDFab when I did full disk when it stalled and I canceled and clicked finish and then exited the program it would leave a file in the dvdfab temp directory that would be the complete video of the disc but it had no sound, I am also using Img burn, and all the other Blu-ray's and DVD's I copy using DVDFab are burning with Img Burn... The burn log does not appear in the log directory until I cancel and click finish... then it appears, and since Img burn never launched to burn the disc it is probably why the log is saying vso.
I just tested this... I deleted the log files, opened DVDFab v9.0.2.6 the dvdfab_internal log is there now... checked the setting and Img burn is selected I didn't change anything, went to exit the program... when I clicked OK to exit the program the dvdfab_burn_vso log appeared... so I deleted the logs again... restarted DVDFab and then exited DVDFab (without checking the settings)... and the same logs appear again. Checked with v8.2.2.7 and same results
so if you do not burn a disc with DVDFab v8 or v9 and exit the program the dvdfab_burn_vso log is created.

The program is working fine with all discs except for the Led Zeppelin, and I had uninstalled and reinstalled DVDFab...

and I have tried all versions of 8 and 9 including the betas from the release of v8.2.2.2QT on
and I have also tried v8.0.8.5 with the same results

DVDFab will copy the disc fine BD50 > BD50

Put the 50 gig disk in your burner drive click the windows logo bottom left hand of page, click computer then look at your blu ray drive with the disk in it how many gigs is it?

If you still have the 25 gig fab compressed file how big is that and did you try playing the file that you think has no sound with power dvd by any chance? What software player did you use? As i had some disks power dvd 10 played without sound but put on my media player the sound was their.

On the temp. files theirs a setting in Fabs software settings that has a delete temp.Fab files and a check box.You need to check each version of fab to see if that box is checked as if so it deletes Fabs temp. files after converting or burning.

              Hi glenns,

OK the original disc says it's 25,314,066,432 bytes - 23.5GB
DVDFab will not even clone it to a BD25 it says Media inserted in drive F: is not double layer blu-ray disc Please insert a double layer blu-ray to start the write process and ejects the blank BD25 (it doesn't even try to copy it)

I have even tried setting the Write size for the Blu ray in DVDFab settings to 23866 (from the default of 23000) and tried to clone it but it still says Media inserted in drive F: is not double layer blu-ray disc Please insert a double layer blu-ray to start the write process and ejects the blank BD25 (it doesn't even try to copy it)

I had to use v8.2.2.7 to uncheck the delete Fabs temp files as v9.0.2.6 doesn't have that option...

              v8.2.2.7 also stalls at 98.14% for a full disc BD50 > BD25

but in the DVDFab temp/Full Disc/led_zeppelin_celebration_day/BDMV/Stream folder

              it lists files all m2ts
              00000 23512864 kb
              00001 173132 kb
              00002 197952 kb
              00005 46542 kb
              00006 63130 kb

file 00000 is unplayable (this is the file that DVDFab stalls on encoding)
file 00001 plays the opening menu with sound and title, but no options for concert, setup etc...
file 00002 is the same as 00001
file 00005 has the background of the menu without the title but has sound
file 00006 plays the black screen with white text closing credits with sound

using DVDFab Media Player selecting the DVDFab temp/Full Disc/led_zeppelin_celebration_day folder it will play the opening menu with sound but no options to select playing the concert...setup...etc... same as what is on file 00001

DVDFab should be able to compress the Full disc to a BD25,
that's why I bought this great program...

So glenns, say you bought a new big screen 1080p TV with surround sound... but all you could play on it were 10th generation copies of VHS tapes in Mono with the tracking messed up... it's not what you got it for...
the same with DVDFab, I want to make a Full Disc copy to a BD25, DVDFab should be able to do this...

Hollow person: The temp.directory setting in version 9 is hidden and appears after hitting the settings button (don't ask me why it's hidden) anyway go to common settings then general click the small settings button upper right side then the box to check if you want the files to delete is their.

You should clone disk to hard drive first the default should be set at 50 gigs in fab for the clone then convert to 25 gigs from the hard drive or see if fab burner will burn the 23.5 gig folder uncompressed with the fab burner set for 23700 if the default 23866 doesn't work.By the way the 2300 default is for a rewritable disk they format differently and have less space to record on them.If your using them that's a problem for the burn and copy with this size file.

You can also try clone to hard drive 50 gig first then using img burn program outside of fab to burn the uncompressed clone to 25 gig disk.If img burn says file is to big check burn to end of disk and see if it will burn to end of disk maybe just cutting a little off the end.

If the store brought disk is 23.5 gigs total fab should be able to do this straight to a 25 gig disk because that's what my blank disks list as free space but if they consider some people are using 2300 as default then the disk has to be compressed by fab to fit this type disk.

Others have this problem in the past with disks close to the 25 gig free space limit after format=23.5.One developer reported this worked for main movie without cuda but Fab should be supporting cuda and you wanted full disk with menus so they should try to reproduce this as you wanted 25 gig full disk.Good luck.

Glen-nos, Thank You for showing where the setting for delete temp files is hidden in v9.0.2.6, I am using BD-R 25, I have tried all the settings for blu-ray write size, and DVDFab defaults to 23000 not 23866... ImgBurn disc write size is 23866
I have used DVDFab to copy the original disc to the hard drive as a BD50 and tried all the write size settings to then do a BD50 > BD25 and they all stall...
I did have one other blu-ray that stalled but I was able to do a BD50 full disc copy to a BD50 RE-DL and then a full disc copy from the BD50 RE-DL to a BD25... it would stall from a BD50 copy on the hard drive... I tried this with the Led Zeppelin disc and still it stalled... I have also tried other software on a different pc to do a full disc to BD25 and these other software all blow up and stop working with this disc or the BD50 copy on the hard drive...

also taking the image file made by DVDFab on the hard drive and using ImgBurn to write image file to disc gives a pop up of There doesn't appear to be enough space on the disc to burn this image. Image Size 12,3569,360 Sectors (24,139 MB) Disc Size 12,219,392 Sectors(23,866 MB) and choosing either Write until end of image (Overburn) or Write until end of disc (Truncate) both fail.

Well it could be a bad disk can you please download vso inspector a free program and check the disk with this program. It will take awhile to do a full scan but you will know if the disk or sectors are bad or unreadable a great free program. You can also check files with it.Lets see why this disk is a problem.

Well the fab team has the disk and was able to do a 25 gig main movie without cuda that's not what you wanted.

They need to test makeing a 25 gig full disk and if they can't then it's up to them to find out why.I tried to think outside the box we checked the disk with vso inspector the files were fine.So whats left is why is the decoder acting this way and it's something the Fab team needs to see about as we did all we can.

Yes I want a BD25 full disc copy,

                            Same Issue with v9.0.2.7 Beta...

                            Full disc blu-ray copy BD50 > BD25
from DVDFab created full disc image BD50 on hard drive

                            Enable Lightning-Recoding - Not Checked

still stalls when encoding / compressing at 98.14%
I have included a screen shot of DVDFab v9.0.2.7 stalled
as well as the internal log

Did you use a ISO or the original disc and did you choose a different audio stream other that the PCM one.

This last attempt I posted the log for with v9.0.2.7 was from the DVDFab created Full Disc BD50 iso on the hard drive with just the full disc option...
a few posts back you will see attempts made with v9.0.2.6 and v8.2.2.7 where we even tried just main movie and unselected the PCM audio, and where we checked remove HD audio, I will try again with v9.0.2.7 from the original disc and remove the PCM audio stream again and post the results.
