Try running Fab as administrator it solved some issues some were having in Windows 8, if it persists run in comparability mode for Windows 7.Also if you have bit defender internet security 13 seems to have problems with the Fab program.

I am running Windows 7 64 bit, and I use Outpost Security Suite Pro,
I have tried running DVDFab as a administrator, and have exited out of Outpost, so Outpost is not running and still same results, of the encoding / compressing stalling

Earthdog:Their are 32,205 members of this forum and that doesn't count the amount of worldwide customers this Fab program has sold software to.For the most part compression works fine most of the time for most people. Here we are talking about a compression problem that a handful people are having. This will get solved.Sometimes it takes longer because of all the different combination of possible things that can go wrong.

What you must understand is everyone is running different systems, different computers and many combinations of security software some that effect other programs in strange ways and ever changing security measures on dvds of all types that change all the time so fab is a ever changing program to keep up with these changes. This is a world wide program many things must be considered when making changes to the software so it will work in many different country's with many different computers around the world.

Their are changes to windows and each version of it with the newest version of windows having the most bugs and growing pains.Just look at each version of windows and the bugs each version has or had.Don't forget that your video card drivers are updated all the time theirs many different cards with different software so they may change something to make a card work better with a game and make something not work in Fab.When you take all this to mind it's a wonder the software works as well as it does worldwide.

Show me a working version of windows from the first version to the newest that has no bugs.If Fab didn't compress as it says it does it wouldn't have as many worldwide customers as it does and word of mouth would get around fast and the company would be out of business fast.Fab has been around for many years so they must be doing something right.

Fab started out totally free and for many years millions of people worldwide used the free program to decode regular dvd's free and they still provide this basic service free and the rest of the programs are free to use for 30 days so you can try them before you buy.I am not a employee of this company just like you a customer.

Your post has been deleted, as it serves no help to Holoperson.

You are 100% right, as no two computers are the same, even if they are identical builds purchased from two different consumers, they will install different anti virus, programs, updates etc....
I always keep my computer clean of junk with CCleaner, registry cleaned, defragmented on a regular basis all updates from Microsoft and all other updates like drivers for my hardware, C++, Java, Adobe etc...
I feel that people need to learn how to clean their computer so that it runs at 100% efficiency.
I'm not saying that Holoperson does not do this, I'm just saying in general...

Hi CBR929 - I have 2 intel Core i7 pc's with 8gb of ram and 32gb ram, both running Windows 7 64 bit, latest drivers / updates I run CCleaner & clean the registry I have old Prefetch data checked in CCleaner, I defrag my drives on a regular basis, I update the video and other drivers on a schedule of 1 pc on the 1st of the month, the other pc on the 15th, so if a driver causes a problem I know before updating the other pc... I also create full clones of each of my hard drives every month, with 2 sets of extra hard drives, so if something happens I can go back 2 months to get back running... I was a Computer tech for a major world wide bank... so that is why I am crazy for the backups... which have saved me as when a hard drive fails, I just swap out the drive with the latest backup I have then get another blank hard drive to clone to put in my backup rotation.
I have also uninstalled DVDFab, ran CCleaner, ran the registry cleaner until nothing is listed, rebooted the pc, downloaded the DVDFab installer and ran the installer as a Admin, I use Outpost Security Suite Pro, and have uninstalled it, redid all these steps to reinstall DVDFab and same results, I have since reinstalled Outpost Security Suite Pro.
I have tried this Led Zeppelin disc on both of my pc's with DVDFab from v8.2.2.2QT as well as v8.0.8.5 to current releases incl beta's...

I have also tried on a 3rd pc - DVDFab, and other software capable of making BD25 copies, DVDFab has the same issue on this 3rd pc, and the other software all crash while attemping to make a copy of this Blu-ray, I do not have access to this 3rd pc now as the owner has went on vacation

DVDFab is the best program out there, I am not having issues backing up other Blu-rays, I hope this problem can be resolved and I will keep posting my logs, as I know others are having this issue as well but are not posting about it as they see this thread...

Thank You for your help and expertise CBR929...

                  Hi Holoperson,
                  So sorry for it.
Where did you buy this disc? Please give us a link for purchasing. Or will you upload the ISO of Led Zeppelin Celebration Day to our server? Thanks.

Terry5: Potti in post 38 tested this disk and was able to do a 50-25 main movie if cuda was disabled but user wanted a full disk 25 gig copy.Could the problem be that the source size for this disk is 24129 and your trying to compress down from a 50gig to a 25 gig? Just a thought some others had also.

                      Hi terry5,

Here is the link from Amazon.com I bought this from

I am willing to upload the DVDFab created BD50 iso

If I try to create a ISO with IMGBurn it says
                      This disc is copy protected!
                      Copyright Protection System Type:AACS

                      See attached screen shot

I am willing to make a ISO with IMGBurn and upload that if you want also

                      Thank You

Just found out there are at least 2 or 3 Different video versions of Led Zeppelin Celebration Day Blu-ray

the USA release...the one I bought from Amazon.com at

                        Then these versions from Amazon.co.uk

which states "The blu-ray in this edition of Celebration Day was filmed at a rate of 24 frames per second. If you would prefer to purchase the higher quality version, filmed at 25 frames per second click here"

"However, please note that the latter is only compatible with EU blu-ray players."

So could the blu-ray be different enough to cause copy problems with one of the versions?

Your link to the copy you brought in the above post is bad (they look exactly the same but yours doesn't work) here is the link that works in your older post theirs a Italian import also on the amazon page.I don't see how 25fps is better than 24fps in the British version as 1 more frame per second goes by so fast i can't see it being better.

If British blu ray players are playing blu rays at a different frame rate maybe that's why they are having trouble with black screen when making fab copy's developers may want to look at this link from Jan. with black screen problems with disks copied with fab and played in the UK with UK blu-ray players.

glenns, From what I read: "The Higher Quality" The EU ONLY edition is the one at 25fps
the one at 24fps is like the USA version...

The reason they are saying the 25fps version is Higher Quality is that it was originally filmed at 25fps, but cinemas still demand 24fps so it was converted to 24fps... this resulted in a "Patchwork of edits" and removing frames, and adding dissolves, etc... read about it here...

but being there are different versions out there, depending on the version you have could result in the Blu-ray copy issue?

and could the require an internet connection feature be causing issues as these are different versions but the same disc? as besides the 24fps vs 25fps could these discs be different in other ways?

Holoperson:After reading how that disk was made i don't wonder why this disk doesn't convert correctly.

My biggest problem with it is why was Potti able to make a 25 gig main movie disk with his copy with all softwere and yours hangs everytime.

When you did the disk scan with vso inspector did you do it to the store brought disk or the Fab made iso?
