I have sent a request for assistance (support) to the techies and have not even received a computer generated form email. The least they can do is set up something to insure that they have received my email request and are working on the problem.
Right now, I have two (2) issues that need to be addressed: (1) v9 will not open and (2) I cannot backup my blu-ray discs.
I try to open v.09 and keep getting an windows error message stating that there is problem and will need to close. Then it asks me if I want to re-open the program, but that only gives me the same error message.
And NO, "Another Earth does not fit on a 25 gig blank disk. (According to "Sticky") How does a 28 gig disc fit on a 25 gig blank disk? It has to compress around 95% and compression does NOT work!
Are these techies too busy counting the money on their paycheck to answer emails requesting support?
(Sorry for being adverse, but it has been over 48 hours and still have not gotten an answer from them. Not even to tell me that they have received my email. How do I know if it went to an inbox that isn't even checked???)

They are working on the opening problem with v9 that is effecting some users. Your other problem with compressiion is unclear, more info is needed to be able to help you.

Here is more information that you requested. If you want me to be more specific with my information, please be specific in requesting it. (Whatever it takes to get this working right!) All of the log files are too long to fit in the 13000 character limit. I have sent the log.zip file to support@dvdfab.com that has everything on/in it. I am not going to copy paste every 13000 characters each just so someone can suggest I do something that I have already tried. (Except of course to disable my anti-virus program, which I am NOT going to do. If there is a problem with "avast!" anti-virus, then the program needs to be modified to work with it. I am paying for it and it is working good to keep my computer safe!!!)
The dvd's backup okay...It's the Blu-Ray discs that are not compressing. I can't even copy a 23 gig BRD to a 25 gig blank disc!
The process takes too long and then it keeps running for hours whenever it freezes. It's almost as bad as getting the "blue screen of death" in the old days!
Please help??? (Thank you!!!)

For v8 you got read errors clean disc + disable gpu acceleration and lightning rec. See if it help if fails post most current log

Okay!!!!

I will refrain from "rants" as you call them...I finally got an email from "Anny" (@dvdfab.com) and although I have tried, tick the "Disable all GPU codecs for decoding and encoding" check box, I will give it another try with vs. 8.
Some of these know-it-all postees are telling me things that don't make any sense, like disabling my anti-virus (avast!) just to run the program. I have Fengtao mentioned 3 different times in the accepted programs list. The DVD Copy works great, but I can't seem to back up my blu ray collection. I just want to "try" the program, before the trial period expires to see if I want to purchase the key. That's all. If it doesn't work during that time, will I get a chance to try it later, when the problems are fixed?
