How long before the next update?

    Thanks

I do not get the message using the retail version of the disc, the one that is included with the 4k disc. Please attach the DVDFab internal log session that illustrates trying to open the disc.

Thanks, the disc ID for your version is blu-ray F3B53C3C050A17FB3495DCE516BC6E9D6118B0D6, different from mine (blu-ray D668327552D66D71C78830FE448D3BE99332F138), so yours is not supported. Please provide a link to the source of your disc so that it can be obtained and supported.

The developers have the files from the UK version of the disc and will support it as soon as possible. For faster results always include the DVDFab internal log session and country of origin in the FIRST post

It looks like the latest Liongate discs are a real challenge for the developers Still the same message with the latest update (11.0.8.0).

I'm having the same error message and problem in Blu Ray Ripper as the original poster, with the same UK/Region B Blu Ray (same F3B53C3C050A17FB3495DCE516BC6E9D6118B0D6 Disc Id).

I am running the latest version 11.1.0.1 of DVDFab 64.

As this issue was posted 5 months ago does this mean the Java protection on this version of the Midway Blu Ray could not be bypassed ?

                        All,
For the UK version of Midway with disc ID ending in...B0D6, please try the copy or conversion in spite of the message. The disc should open. I just made a high bitrate MP4 of this disc that plays perfectly. The developers are still checking on it.

Have tried cancelling the message and continuing using the Blu Ray Copy (Main Movie) and Blu Ray Ripper (mkv and mp4) modules, with still not much success. They both spend a long time read seeking (~10 minutes) which the log file indicates 100's of errors of the type:

                          2020.08.16-09:50:14: reading not aligned for 00000.m2ts, base 120224 current 1652736 read 32 start 2
                          2020.08.16-09:50:15: reading not aligned for 00000.m2ts, base 120224 current 1652768 read 32 end 2
                          2020.08.16-09:50:16: reading not aligned for 00000.m2ts, base 120224 current 1652800 read 32 start 1
                          2020.08.16-09:50:16: reading not aligned for 00000.m2ts, base 120224 current 1652801 read 31 end 1
                          2020.08.16-09:50:17: reading not aligned for 00000.m2ts, base 120224 current 1652832 read 32 start 2
                          2020.08.16-09:50:18: reading not aligned for 00000.m2ts, base 120224 current 1652864 read 32 end 2
2020.08.16-09:50:19: reading not aligned for 00000.m2ts, base 120224 current 1652896 read 32 start

...before writing some data and then return to the repetitive read seeking above. This cycle repeats itself for hours until it eventually returned a read error message window with the Retry, Ignore etc. None of the options work and the program sits there consuming high CPU with no further data written. It reached about 57% and 1 hour 18min of the movie after about 6 hours. I then cancelled the process. A normal conversion would take 20 to 30 minutes on my PC setup.

Attached is the dvdfab_internal log from the last attempt (Blu Ray Ripper mp4):

                          dvdfab_internal_MIDWAY.txt

Any other ideas or wait for the developers to fix it ?

                              Thanks,
tried a Bluray Rip to mkv again with the latest version 11.1.0.3 and can confirm that the Java Protection message no longer appears and the conversion progresses normally i.e. at a fast speed. However, my conversions still fail with read errors at about 57% and 1 hour 18 min of the movie. I think this may be a problem with my Bluray disc, although it does not appear to have any visible surface defects, has been cleaned and plays fine in two blu ray players.

Hope it now works fine for others.
