avatar decryted but wont playback

i decrypted avatar with dvdfab 7.0.4.0 but wont playback with powerdvd and total media theatre,when i try showing black screen and standing allways,do u have any idea about that? waiting helps.thanks for best concerns.

ps3z - you don't have the latest powerdvd update that came out yesterday which takes it from 1561 to 1601. 1601 includes avatar support. goto cyberlink and d/l it!

you wouldnt have been able to decrypt it at all if it was a protection problem.

did u receive a message from dvdfab about having to connect to the internet when you put avatar disc in? dvdfab needs the internet connection to download the proper avatar decryption. you may need to use dvdfab again and convert again.

yes i saw notification about update..and i did after i started to do decrypt it.but asking about region code,avatar blu-ray B,C,i choosed as B region but removed all as B and C?

Moving to Blu-ray forum. The protection may be different for those regions. I'm sure they are working on it.

you definitely updated powerdvd10 yesterday or today as well?

if so then im not sure! i don't think the region b or c makes much difference as you have chosen one of the regions it requires to access it anyway.

you could try just converting 1 or 2 chapters again in the middle of the film instead of the whole movie with 'Title Start /End Settings' button to create yourself a sample to see if dvdfab is converting it correctly for you and it plays back. You could also try Region C if it helps ease your mind!Also I am not sure if only Avatur USA has been decrypted, the other editions around the world may use a different encryption??

i have powerdvd 7,3 as updated also..powerdvd not able to load from folder just total media doing it,by the way...i think avatar have different regions and decryption can be different,dvdfab programmers could check it with different logs of avatar Bd disc.

yes its been confirmed that your avatar disc is not ready yet for decrypting. also it would never work on powerdvd 7.3 only the latest 10.

For now, you need use "Main Movie" to backup Avatar, other copy modes support will be added soon.
