Try to cancel the scan before Dvdfab shutdown then use "Send info files" function in the program. IT appears there are at least 2 diferent protections between the diferent version of the movie

Yes a bunch, it crashes DVDFAB or it freezes it. I cant send logs because of that reason, but I sent ERROR REPORTS.

download and install the trial for Passkey. Let Passkey open the DVD and once Passkey opens the DVD start DVDFab to see if DVDFab will open the DVD. If that works then you should be able to post log files and send in the info files and as well back up the DVD

error while reading message appears.just keeps scanning. screw it Ive been at this all day and all night long but to no avail. Thanks AGJ for the help, but it appears that I cant get a back up copy just yet.

Well, I have single disc version and worked fine with DVDfab. The only complain is it keeps a fake title set, but copied without problem

Are you using "main movie?" Because Ive tried everything but its not working. Maybe I have a bad pressed DVD?

Hi CarolinaGirl,

1) Please understand that "Task_1 failed! Error=102" error message that means DVD_Error_ReadFile (failed to read original disc's File ).

2) Please try to install the latest beta version 8.0.5.1 at to copy again and see the result.

3) You can also check if this original disc is bad (dirty/scratched). Go clean it firstly before you copy, and if it doesn't help - return your DVD for exchange. And don't forget to clean your drive as well.

I have been trying to backup my purchased DVD movie "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse". I am using the latest version of DVDFab v8.0.5.3 Beta and yes, it's fully paid and registered. Every time I insert the disc (original), DVDFab v8.0.5.3 Beta starts to read it but than unexpectedly stops responding and than gives me the error message: ERROR WHILE READING, WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO?. I also tried using DVDFab PassKey v8.0.0.4, but it could not read the disc for some odd reason. I also checked the disc for any scratches, dirt, smears, smudges, fingerprints, and anything that might effect or prevent the disc from being read or backed up, but the disc is clean. Here is a copy of the DVDFab internal log....

Also, what is pathplayer loop 3 1 12 1 7910? I notice this type of message when I was looking at the DVDFab internal log.

c0afanh, you could try disabling PathPlayer and choosing the main title manually. There will be an update for this soon, I would just wait. Thanks for posting the logs.
