    Drive just constantly flashes

I'm trying to make an ISO of a dance DVD from South America - The problem is the dvd drive just constantly flashes. DVDfab never mounts the drive. This is the only disc that causes this - not a drive problem.

The same thing happens with other program. Yes the disc will play in a standalone DVD player. I have the latest version.

    Any ideas?

    Hi The_Tango
Try disabling Path Player to do this Open Fab Click the Green top right > Protection > Path Player click Disable Path Player click OK restart Fab and try again, just remember to set it back to Always Enabled.

If this does not work please do as posted here http://forum.dvdfab.com/showthread.php?t=15

If the disc still will not open, click on the green checkmark again (with the disc int he drive). The Info page will open. Click on the button that says Send Info files. A box will open to let you send the IFO files and other info to the developers. The box may be underneath the DVDFab window, check there if you don't see it. A live internet connection is required.

I had already tried turning Path Player off - No effect.

        With no disc in drive:
Info for drive [E:\] (DVDFab 8.0.7.3)
        Vendor: TSSTcorp
        Product: CDDVDW SH-S223Q
        Revision: SB03
        Vendor specific: 1219
        Drive region control: RPC II
        Drive region: 1
        User changes left: 4
        Vendor resets left: 4
        No disc in drive.

        With problem disc in drive:

Info for drive [E:\] (DVDFab 8.0.7.3)
        Vendor:
        Product:
        Revision:
        Vendor specific:
        No disc in drive.

If I put the disc in the drive, then start DVDFab - The program shows up in Task Manager but never starts up.

If I start DVDFab first, the program comes up - then insert the problem disc. The program never mounts the drive. Just constant flashing. This accessing of the drive will pretty much lock up the PC until I reject the disc.

Please install Imgburn at http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download, then "Creat image file from disc " to see the result.
