When I use the software with any disc all processes complete until disc is ejected for blank disc insertion. At this point the entire system crashes. I have a new computer with Windows 7 64-bit and it is only happening on this computer. If I run the software 8.1.1.2 on my old computer with Windows Vista I have no problem. Any suggestions? My whole thing is to do away with old computer and be able to completely use my new one.

There was an old problem with the VSO burn engine before that caused this issue.
Try loading the Free version of imgburn and test it out, There is a tutorial in my sig from Troy on how to set it up.
Removal of new protections may not be available yet in the free version of DVDFab (HD Decrypter)

It may be a problem with the registry.
1. uninstall DVDFab, I use the uninstaller in the start menu.
2. search for, download CCleaner, it's free and will cleanup the registry and install.
3. be sure to select the registry cleaner, looks like a Rubik's cube.
4. Scan for registry issues until it finds none, may take up to three times. click on fix all issues, you don't need to save a backup.
reinstall 8.1.1.8 and give it a go.How to post the internal log

Hi HeatherVela
When installing Fab on a Windows 7 system you have to install as administrator.
Instead of clicking run click save then open the folder and right click and install the program as administrator.
Hope this helps

Try going into the Device Manager and removing (uninstalling) the DVD drive completely. Windows will pick it up and install it when you reboot the computer. How to post the internal log

Sounds like you are going from Disc to Disc
Have you tried just saving it to harddrive, close Fab and then try and burn with imgburn.
Is this a Laptop or Desktop ?
For testing try the 2 step approach.
