Look for the button that says "Print Screen" or sometimes "prt sc". You may have to combine it with another button like Fn or Alt. Paste the image into windows Paint, save it as a jpg or png type file and attach it to a post using the Manage Attachments button below the post editing window.

Ok guys! The burn to hard drive and then imgburn works. I was using disc to disc which is the most convenient and easiest option for me but at least I can mow continue to use the software. If anyone happens to know why disc to disc would make the system crash please let me know. I was reading another post with same issue but computer was Toshiba not HP but using windows 7 64-bit as well.

Is this a Laptop or Desktop.
If your desktop has a bad, or going bad power supply this type of thing will happen.

The copy engine may not be releasing the drive correctly it may need to stop completely before it can start the burning engine.

                Hi HeatherVela
Since you have ImgBurn installed, please Open ImgBurn > Tools > Filter Driver Load Order and post what is listed.

The computer is still crashing when going to burn with DVDfab only - going to attempt a new burn with imgburn and see how that goes. Will post results in a few! Thanks for all the responses so far. Willing to try anything - I absolutely love DVDfab and in the mean time still have old faithful (old laptop) still kicking them out!

                      Hi HeatherVela
I would delete this filter through ImgBurn, then restart your computer.
Remember what ever software install that filter may no longer work properly.

GEARAspiWDM is most likely a driver associated with iTunes.
It just so happens I have the same version of this driver: GEARAspiWDM 2.02.00.01 [2.2.0.1] on my rig, running Win7 Pro 64-bit, without any problems.

Given the specifics of your problem, I doubt this is the culprit, but anything's possible with a corrupt driver.

If you delete it, be sure you have the desired version of iTunes handy in order to reinstall...unless you want to D/L the most recent version from iTunes' support page.

I see you completely uninstalled and ran CCleaner including the registry scan.
                        Still, I'm not convinced.

Please enter device manager, scroll all the way down to VSO devices and click on the + to expand.

                        Are there any patin-couffin entries?
Please delete all instances of p-c driver.

                        Not to worry.
No software except VSO ever used it to my knowledge and VSO now uses SPTI for its access layers.
Plus you can always reinstall it.

Also check and make certain that for the I/O settings in Fab,
                        ASPI is NOT enabled.
This should be Auto or SPTI.

You can try them both, but don't use ASPI
If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

That error message could mean you are running out of paged pool memory. Nothing to do with how much memory you have, it’s how the memory manager allocates it. Let’s try this, it’s the way I have mine set and it smoothed out DVD playback and many other advantages.
                              1. In accessories right click “Command Prompt” and run as administrator.
                              2. Should return a black box with the following text: C:\Windows\system32>
                              3. Type this exactly C:\Windows\system32>fsutil behavior set memoryusage 2
                              4. Press enter
                              5. Should return C:\Windows\system32>fastil behavior set memoryusage 2
NOTE: Changes to this setting require a reboot to take effect.
                              MemoryUsage = 2

If the computer was factory set to memoryusage = Ø it could be bumping the limit. If it does not fix the problem it will help other things and do no harm. Reboot the computer and give it a try.

How to post the internal log

Below is what I get when attempting the memoryusage 2 command in DOS mode.

'fastil' is not recognized as an interal or external command, operable program or batch file.

Also, there is no VSO files in my device manager.
I am downloading the new version to see if this helps.
