Star Trek XI issues

I worked on Star Trek XI several hours yesterday.
R1/4
movie only.
Pathplayer on. pathplayer will run for several minutes before opening the disc.
Make sure the software has chosen title 2.
This will produce a good copy of Star Trek movie only.

This move has 28 titles.....27 bad sectors......600 unplayable cells.

In my playing with the movie I was not able to do a full disc as Fab either stopped working or crashed.

I let pathplayer keep running which I didn't before as I thought it was unable to read the disk.

Edit - Nope wouldn't burn to any disk - tried 5. Never had that b4

Ok copied title 2 to C: played IFO file - sound was breaking up and no video. Going to try title 21.

This what I've tried so far for R4

Pathplayer enabled
Ignore all Errors
Use Main Movie
Use Title #2

Both seemed to play ok but the end of the movie was missing I am now going to try with pathplayer disabled

Same problem as above Fab 6.1.2.5 Disk STAR_TREK_XI_AU

Used "PathPlayer", Main Movie, Title 21 and seem to have got it. Encoding to H264 and will watch tonight and report back.

I tried playing it on my computer - it doesn't even do that,
Normal DVD player is fine :/

Got a replacement disc - after DVDFAB locked up a few times Title 21 finally worked

Fab Version 6.1.2.5 PathPlayer enabled continually scans the disk. I left it for 25mins and then cancelled. With Pathplayer off I was able to achieve a Main Movie backup.

Have sent the IFO's to Fengtao.

The Main Movie Rip to the folder of title 21 seems to be fine when played from the folder but the H264 file that I encoded has audio sync problems. I'll report that in a separate thread in DVD to Mobile.

I think its important to let pathplayer run its course. I don't know how long it took as I went and did something else (like go to bed) while it ran and kept checking back. I had a couple of rips that wouldn't burn to disc and many times DVDFAB locked up (I think this was temporary however but I didn't wait) Two copies I did make 1 to C: and 1 to DVD had audio problems.

I have never seen a title that has given this much a problem - was a relief to finally beat it. Has anyone looked into who and what they did ?

on different movies how do you tell what Title to use

willieg, what I did was put the disc into a DVD Player and then when the movie starts, hit the "Title" button on the remote. The first number is the title number. Then that is the number I used. I think Alien has it linked in his signiture for Transformers 2.
