There seems to be something wrong with your DVDFab install. Please use the DVDFab uninstaller, reboot your PC, then run the installer again. DVDFab has no problem with this disc.

thats beta, 8.0.2.2 is the official release onthe download page, not beta.

Your choice to not install beta but just so you know the beta versions fix stuff that was wrong when the official was released. The last 2 beta had no fixes or copy protection removal added for DVD so DVDFab 8.0.2.2 should work just fine for you.

Like the others mentioned remove DVDFab from computer restart computer and run a registry cleaner like CCleaner. then reinstall DVDFab

It is you choice to use the beta or not, as I have Iron Man 2 backed up and beta releases are for when new movies come out with a new encryption that the official release can not handle.
And by your logs it looks like you have a corrupt install

on my 4th reinstall and the same thing.

I can try the beta if you say its ok?

Usually most beta stuff is more formal,
only to be played with by those who are beta testing.

That would be Alpha releases, Beta releases are safe to use but if a bug found all you do is report that by starting a thread to see what wrong

                          reinstall

                          hi gator295,

Please do a uninstall of DVDFab 8. You can uninstall DVDFab with the uninstall program. Then open My Computer and go to c:\Program Files (OR) wherever you installed DVDFab, delete the "DVDFab" folder. Open "c:\WINDOWS \ PREFETCH" clean all the relevant ".pf " files with DVDFab.

Restart computer and check if there are some related files left, if yes, please delete them.

After all that clean procedure, please install DVDFab 8.0.2.4 Beta at

to copy the movie and see what is going on.

                          mona

Which kind or brand of program?

Haven't used one of those in years as I had a bad experience with one once that removed more then it should have. I was then left to scramble n refind codes for programs long ago installed.

could you not just tell me which reg keys to delete???

CCleaner it is free, which you will find here ,remember to click old prefetch data on the advanced section and you may try running it more than once.
                              OR
You need to do a clean uninstall of DVDFab8 because sometimes programs can get files that become corrupt. You can uninstall DVDFab with the uninstall program. Open My Computer and go to c:\Program Files (OR) wherever you installed DVDFab, delete the "DVDFab" folder. Open "c:\WINDOWS \ PREFETCH" clean all the relevant ".pf " files with DVDFab. Then restart computer and check if there are some related files left, if does, please delete them.

                              Reinstalling Fab:
Instead of clicking run click save then open the folder and right click and install the program as administrator

                              Hope this helps
